Before 7-11 took over I loved to work for speedway, but after I hate it. I stayed on for the coworkers and boss I have but it's getting harder and harder. We don't even get over yearly bonus anymore. Just hit my 4 year mark and nothing. Same thing last year. No growth and corporate keeps adding more to our plates with less hours and less people. It's not fair and a bad way to treat your employees if you ask me. I don't make enough to provide for my family of 5 and there's no sign of promotion or pay raise that's more than 9¢ per hour
Another thing that annoyed me, was they would always promote new products, but we were never able to get said products. Don't have us promote shit, if we can't get the product.
Thank you for your comments. My boss calls me the speedway God. 😂
I'm sorry, I have to correct what I said. I couldn't live off less than 40 hours a week.
Speedway employees talk crap about their customers and employees. I use to work there and walked in as a customer to over here them talking about me and they was unaware at 1st I was there. They also, speak I'll off other customers. Massillon Ohio
getting paid for 55 hours and working 65+ was frustrating with no training getting pushed into a general manager position.
I work at speedway for 5 years the company itself isn't that bad. Granted they don't pay great and getting 40 is hard, but when you have a boss that's nice to your face and runs you down to other employees and managers that's the problem. I left a week after I got 5 years because I had a boss that was crap.
It's worse when you have a boss that talks about employees behind their back like not showing up for shifts, calling in all the time, but doesn't do ANYTHING about it
Yeah I thought I was doing a good job at "customer obsessed" then I got fired for being too friendly.
Csr
5mosure. customer obsession. but shit to employees
