Happy Holidays to All! What a year it's been... And a special thanks to my wonderful clients and partners. Here is the key takeaway from both a business and personal perspective: Eat the frog. As Mark Twain said: “If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it's your job to eat two frogs, it's best to eat the biggest one first.” A "strategy" is really just knowing what needs to be done and then prioritizing the tasks in order of most important to least. https://lnkd.in/ensqA8Xq
As the year comes to an end, we would like to wish everyone a very Happy Holidays and New Year. 🎄🎊 We'd like to express an extra special thanks to our superb clients and partners. Here's to an amazing 2025! 🥂

The best advice from the best professional in EQ and Mental health!
Unlock Your Team’s Emotional Intelligence & Professional Potential Drive Growth & Well-Being Through Tailored Learning Experiences | Dr. of Education, Research-Practitioner, Emotional Intelligence Expert
Keep Your Eye on the Prize During times of celebration, our expectations - especially of ourselves - can become unrealistic. We often expect everything and everyone to be perfect, leaving no room for reality. The solution is simple: focus on what truly matters to you. Maybe it's capturing that rare family photo. Maybe it's simply having everyone together. When things go wrong, take it in stride. Perfect moments aren't realistic - and they're rarely what we remember anyway. Keep your eye on your prize and let everything else be what it is: perfectly imperfect. Happy Holidays! Dr. Beth ❤️

🎇 Happy 4th of July Weekend! 🎇 As we kicked off the holiday weekend yesterday, it's a great time to reflect on the values of freedom, independence, and community that define our nation. For those of us in sales, these principles can also be a guiding force in our professional lives. Here are a few tips to keep in mind as you enjoy the celebrations: 1️⃣ Embrace Independence: Use this time to think about how you can innovate and take ownership of your sales strategies. Independence in thought and action often leads to the most creative solutions. 2️⃣ Celebrate Your Wins: Just like we celebrate our country's achievements, take a moment to acknowledge your own victories, big or small. Recognition fuels motivation and drives future success. 3️⃣ Strengthen Relationships: Holidays are a perfect time to reconnect with clients and colleagues. A simple message or call can reinforce bonds and show your genuine appreciation for their support. 4️⃣ Recharge and Reflect: Use the long weekend to recharge your batteries. A well-rested mind is crucial for approaching the second half of the year with renewed energy and focus. 5️⃣ Plan Ahead: While enjoying the festivities, spare a thought for your upcoming goals. A little bit of planning now can set you up for a stellar performance in Q3 and Q4. I hope everyone had a safe, joyous, and inspiring 4th of July! Let's continue to strive for greatness and freedom in all we do. #IndependenceDay #SalesTips #ClientAppreciation #CelebrateSuccess #RechargeAndReflect

With July 4th around the corner, many of us are gearing up for a well-deserved break.✨ But just like other clients and recruiters, some would worry about who will take care of things while they are out. Having your business on hold just because you're out of town is such a bummer. 🤔 We have several clients who comfortably plan out their vacations. How? by these 3 easy steps: 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 1: 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 🗨 Before heading out, they informed their candidates and clients about the vacation. Everyone knows that their VA will be the point of contact during the break. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 2: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦✍ The client and VA went over all ongoing projects, ensuring that the VA had all the details and contacts needed. With a clear handover, the VA is confident to manage everything. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 3: 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 🤓 The client set up automated email responses, directing inquiries to their VA. Smaller tasks were delegated to other team members, making sure no one was overwhelmed. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 4: 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 💪 With everything in place, our clients will be able to enjoy their holiday. Not working on missed deadlines or opportunities. Happy July 4th, everyone! 🎇 Enjoy the holiday knowing your business is in good hands. 🤝

👩🏻🏫 Term 4 begins. And the end of the year feels closer. ⏰ We’re already two weeks into the final quarter of the year. 🥅 The goals for the year are being reviewed. What still needs to be done, what can be diverted, cancelled or delegated? 🎬 This is often a time of year when there’s a flurry of action and change. 🌅 Having returned from our reccy I am choosing how to face the action needed from now til we leave in January. ✅ I choose to think of this pre-adventure period as part of the adventure. ✅ I choose to create focus on what’s important and not let myself get distracted in the new and shiny (IYKYK). ✅ I choose to lean into my word of the year, human. I will do what I can. I will not always nail it, but knowing myself, I am putting the right things in place to get through a busy time with success and wellbeing in tact. ❓What do you need to do to get through the busy season and round out 2025 in the way you want. Having achieved what’s important to you. And allowing you to enjoy your holidays without needing to spend them recovering.

𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀: 𝟯𝟬 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 One Idea: Take Time to Celebrate Your Progress It is the transition time of year. People are finishing school, completing studies, changing roles, and even going on holidays. Everywhere you look there are public celebrations to mark these transitions – graduation ceremonies, end-of-year concerts, and Christmas parties. But have you created time and space for personal reflection on your achievements to mark this transition? One Quote: “Transitions are a time for reflection, and a time for looking forward.” – Roy Cooper One Example: Yesterday I hosted the last session of the year of my Leaders Learning Circle for Teaching Principals. Holding space for the school leaders to reflect on their personal and professional goals highlighted progress in nearly every area. There was much to celebrate with big and small wins. Most significantly, I was reminded how leaders are so outwardly focused on meeting the needs and expectations of everyone else, that they rarely take time for themselves to acknowledge what they have achieved. And not just think about it, but actually write it on paper to make it concrete. One Small Action: Before you finish for the Christmas break, take 30 minutes to reflect on your progress with life’s projects. Three Questions: 1. On a scale of one to ten, how satisfied am I with this project right now? 2. What have I achieved that makes it that high? 3. What are my possible next small steps?

My children often tell me that my generation is the most fortunate of all time. Why? Because we’ve had the unique opportunity to live and work in both the analogue and digital worlds. This dual experience places us in a rare position to embrace a more balanced life - one that combines the best values and behaviors from each world while avoiding their pitfalls. The analogue world taught us the importance of presence, patience, deep interpersonal connections and appreciation for simplicity and processes. On the other hand, the digital world offers unparalleled accessibility, efficiency, global connectivity and democratizes knowledge and expands access to education, work, and global conversations. By integrating the strengths of both, we have the potential to create a hybrid lifestyle that prioritizes well-being, fosters meaningful connections, and supports sustainability. But with this unique perspective comes a responsibility. As the world continues to change, we must facilitate discussions about the values and behaviors that define a good life. How do we preserve the wisdom of the past while embracing the opportunities of the future? And how do we build societies where everyone feels they belong, where they are cared for, and where they can contribute meaningfully to a greater purpose? As the holidays approach, I invite you to bring this topic to your family and friends. Let’s share experiences, exchange ideas, and reflect together on how we can collectively build a better, more inclusive world - not just for ourselves but for all species on this planet. Thank you for being part of my journey. I wish you all peaceful holidays filled with meaningful conversations and a Happy New Year full of possibility and purpose.

I'm on vacation this week. But what does that really mean in today's relentless news-driven, email-laden, texts all the time, I'm-only-a-phone-call-away world? If I'm not careful, here's what my time off may look like. 🏖 DAY ONE: While getting settled and breathing deeply, I realize I forgot to send at least 3 emails to clients. ⛱ DAY TWO: Check the morning news and spend the rest of the day obsessing about it. 🍷 DAY THREE: Wondering why the prices are so high when the cell service is so bad. 🍸 DAY FOUR: It's starting to feel like a vacation. But then I ask myself why I didn't get more work done before I left so that there's less to do when I return. 🏄♂️ DAY FIVE: Beginning to think about the trip home and staring at the stack of blank postcards. 🏊♂️ DAY SIX: Finally relaxing. Leaving tomorrow. ✈ DAY SEVEN: Go home and promise myself that next year I'll leave it all behind. How about you? 🤔
