Really fantastic news today from our venture Deltia, which has received €4.5 million in seed funding in a round led by our friends at Cavalry Ventures. Merantix was proud to participate in this latest round again. Dr. Silviu Homoceanu joined us at Merantix about a year ago, and met Maximilian Fischer who was also an Entrepreneur in Residence with us where they quickly realised that with Max’s background in the industry and Silvius passion for computer vision that they have a common goal to tackle: Optimising factory processes with the help of AI. At its core, Deltia’s mission is to help solve one of biggest challenges we’re facing right now in modern industrial production — the shortage of skilled workers. They saw fantastic early traction with this - having signed 5 partners before writing a single line of code. So today they have reached the next milestone, and are adding fantastic new investors that will help them grow even further: Cavalry Ventures, 🤠 Claude Ritter, Robin Capital Robin Haak, and Combination VC. I’ve been so impressed by Max Fischer and Silviu Homoceanu and the Deltia team and can’t wait to see what’s next.
