Space and Time’s Post

We’re thrilled to announce that the Proof of SQL x Chainlink integration is now live on testnet! 🎉 At #Chainlink SmartCon, we announced testnet of SXT Chain, the blockchain for ZK-proven data. SXT Chain is a decentralized database that witnesses data from onchain and offchain sources, secures it, and stores it for devs to query using Proof of SQL. ➡️ About Proof of SQL Proof of SQL is SXT’s sub-second ZK coprocessor for SQL queries. It proves queries against the blockchain data indexed, signed, and stored by SXT Chain so that your client or smart contract knows the SQL computation and underlying data are accurate and untampered. ➡️ Verifying Proof of SQL with Chainlink Unfortunately, verifying ZK proofs natively on Ethereum mainnet can be quite expensive. To optimize ZK proof verification for Ethereum smart contract clients, Proof of SQL is leveraging the Chainlink standard, offering developers a more efficient and cost-effective way to ZK-verify query results compared to traditional gas-heavy verification methods on Ethereum. This integration is now live on testnet. ➡️ Delivering Query Results with Chainlink Here’s how it works: devs make a Chainlink Functions call to SXT Chain, and SXT returns back a query result and a ZK proof to Chainlink. Chainlink verifies the proof redundantly, comes to consensus, and delivers the now ZK-verified query result to the client, without requiring costly verification on Ethereum itself. SXT acts as a trusted ZK-proven database for Chainlink developers, expanding the scope of what they can build onchain.
