WOWWWWWW.... Decision to Perform a Return to the Air in Aviation Making the decision to perform a go-around is based on multiple factors, including stabilized approach criteria, air traffic control (ATC) instructions, and environmental conditions. The crew must carefully evaluate whether continuing the approach or performing a go-around presents lower risk. Both scenarios have inherent risks, but these can be mitigated through the proper use of standard operating procedures.

Aviation is committed to continuing to reduce noise impact. It is crucial that noise abatement considerations are introduced with a critical eye to ensure the ongoing #safety of flight operations. The interdependencies with other environmental concerns must also be considered. Although the responsibility for the development of Noise Abatement Procedures (NAP) sits with the Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) it is essential to collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure flight standards are not reduced. To learn more about #noise abatement and the “balanced approach”, IATA recently released a position on NAPs which can be found in the Safety Issue Hub, a repository for #aviation safety issues and guidance material 👉 https://lnkd.in/ec-Fr55F

I was asked recently about how I see the role of the Board, in a not for profit social enterprise. I compared the role to that of ‘air traffic control’. This is a ground-based service that guides and directs aircraft to make sure they arrive safely at a future destination. The oversight is critical, policies and procedures are core and it is all about guiding to a safe and secure future with minimal risk. Air traffic controllers never fly the plane, arrange maintenance at the airport, meet the service users, or do any of the day to day operational tasks. For this contribution to be of real value there must be a clear purpose with defined parameters.

🛡 Did you know that we can also make chargers for special dusty environments? ❄ Did you know that our chargers also have integrated heating for cold environments? ✈ Did you know that we also have chargers at the airports? What are the chargers at the airport for? The answer is Ground Support Equipment (GSE) ▶ is a support device located at the airport, usually on the apron near the terminal. This equipment is used to service aircraft between flights. As the name suggests, ground support equipment is used to support aircraft operations on the ground.

The mist that sometimes fills an airplane cabin when on the ground is simply water vapor condensing into droplets. This happens due to a rapid change in temperature and humidity. How it Happens: * Hot and humid environment: Airports in tropical or subtropical regions often have high temperatures and humidity. * Aircraft air conditioning: To prepare the cabin for passengers, the air conditioning system is turned on, significantly cooling the interior. * Condensation: The warm, humid air inside the aircraft comes into contact with the cold air from the AC, causing the water vapor to condense into tiny droplets, creating the mist. It's completely harmless
