Comparing heterogeneity in mRNA-LNP formulations: Frank DeRosa and collaborators at Sanofi mRNA Center of Excellence established a reliable sucrose gradient ultracentrifugation protocol to separate subpopulations of mRNA-LNPs based on density https://lnkd.in/exXeWwK4 LNPs were segregated into two fractions based on density, with the majority of the payload and lipid content concentrated in the upper fraction in comparison to the lower fraction. Their work allowed to establish the biophysical traits of parent mRNA-LNPs and their subpopulations.
