Just as you take pride in your home or garden, let’s take pride in our town centre. Here’s how you can help: - Cleanliness and Maintenance: Dispose of litter properly and encourage others to do the same. A clean town centre is more inviting and enjoyable for everyone. - Green Spaces and Aesthetics: Respect and care for the plants and flowers in our public spaces. They help make our town centre look colourful and welcoming. - Safety and Accessibility: Be mindful of your surroundings and report any issues to keep our town centre safe and accessible for all. - Community Engagement: Participate in community events and activities. Your involvement helps foster a sense of belonging and pride in our town centre. - Support for Local Businesses: Shop locally and support our businesses. A thriving local economy benefits the entire community. By taking responsibility for our actions and encouraging others to do the same, we can create a town centre that reflects our collective pride and care. This builds on Hertfordshire’s 23-year high of successfully delivering the highest number of homes in 2024. “Hertfordshire has always been at the forefront of planning for growth, and these new developments showcase our commitment to sustainable living. As we continue to pioneer in this area, it's crucial that these homes are recognised as counting toward local plan numbers, not in addition to them.
