#GenAI can shine brighter when combined with other #AI techniques! Here's some of the scenarios where if we combine both we can get better results: - Structured Data Analysis: Machine Learning Excel helps identify patterns and make predictions in large datasets - Complex Decision-Making: Deep Learning Excel tackles tasks requiring complex pattern recognition, like image or speech recognition - Human Expertise is Irreplaceable: When tasks demand context, judgment, or creativity, human oversight is crucial The Winning Formula can be: GenAI + Other AI + Human Expertise The best approach often involves an orchestration of GenAI, other AI techniques, and human expertise. Consider these factors: - Data Type: Structured or unstructured data? - Task Complexity: Creative generation or complex analysis? - Human Input Needed? Does the task require ethical considerations or human intuition? By choosing the right AI "cocktail" for the job, you can unlock its true potential and drive innovation. What are your experiences combining GenAI with other AI techniques?

Happy holidays! If you think AI is just #generativeai, it's not. We've had a form of AI for a while , currently called Analytical AI, or formerly known as Predictive Analytics. It's important to know the differences and this article from Harvard Business Review does an excellent job explaining this so just about anyone can understand these use cases. One point in the article that I found particularly valuable, for all of us, is how GenAI can play a huge role in expanding the ability for anyone to do their own machine learning or statistical modeling. Imagine you can prompt and GenAI tool to have it's Analytical AI sibling run a statistical model for you and it can compile/clean the data accordingly (or take your data and clean it). There is still the question of how accurate this would be since most people would not be able to know if it's a "garbage in garbage out" situation (now being called hallucination for #GenAI). Regardless, this can be solved for and the two forms brought together could be an incredibly valuable offering for everyone. This last point brings us back to the point on GenAI's biggest hurdle moving forward isn't technical feasibility, value for the world, or being viable for the business. It's all about usability and making it so people don't get hallucinated results or garbage in garbage out results. In the article, HBR talks about AT&T taking this approach. I would love to hear more about this and what other companies are doing similarly. Would DataRobot use this approach to create an even more open AI platform? Or do they already? Imagine, how an expert in Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR, or other non technical roles could improve their results with this type of tool.

In the HBR article 'Find the AI Approach That Fits the Problem You're Trying to Solve,' Professor Sam Ransbotham presents his insights through five pivotal questions to ensure the success of your #AI [#GenAI] project. These questions include: the cost of inaccuracies, the necessity of decision explainability, the consistency of model responses, the reliability of data sources, and the representativeness of training data under operational conditions. I believe the initial three questions guide the selection of your AI strategy, whereas the latter two are crucial for ensuring the quality of the outcomes. What particularly resonated with me was the emphasis on continually investing in and focusing on solving business challenges. https://lnkd.in/gqh7FEgz
