Day 18/20 with Africa Agility Foundation . It was looking as an endless journey with the challenge; but gracefully it's gradually coming to a wonderful end soonest. The journey has taking me through all thick and thin. Thankfully it was all round success all the way. Delving into the world of Unsupervised Learning (clustering). With much concentration on K-means. K-Means clustering is an unsupervised learning algorithm. There is no labeled data for this clustering, unlike in supervised learning. K-Means performs the division of objects into clusters that share similarities and are dissimilar to the objects belonging to another cluster. Here K defines the number of pre-defined clusters that need to be created in the process, as if K=2, there will be two clusters, and for K=3, there will be three clusters, and so on. Can we benefit from AI and access high-quality education 📚? Education is a basic human right - 250 million children around the world out of school is a global learning crisis. "The grade-AI generation!" - the Capgemini Global Data Science Challenge (GDSC) 7th edition, 1st GenAI edition. In partnership with UNESCO and Amazon Web Services (AWS), was about creating an Agentic System to help realize the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4: ensure inclusive, equitable education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. With 1500 participants from 43 different countries, we worked towards leveraging publicly available learning data with GenAI and making a difference in children's learning. This week, global leaders are gathering in New York City for the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and the first “Summit of the Future.” Front and center is how to dramatically accelerate progress on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).It was awesome to see #Chromebooks being specifically called as we work with UNICEF to support #SDG4 (Quality Education), including deploying #Chromebooks and using #Google #Classroom and #ReadAlong to support literacy development. We are also proud to be a member of #UNESCO’s Global Education Coalition, which yesterday launched the Six Pillars for Digital Transformation of Education, a common framework to shape sustainable and human-centered digital transformation of education systems. We know that by safely connecting young people to high-quality learning experiences, we can support skilling, economic development and societal contribution. Here's my 2024 LinkedIn Rewind, by Coauthor: In 2024, I learned that AI's greatest impact comes not from replacing humans, but from helping us find each other when we need it most. What started as a personal project during Alura + Google's AI Immersion became something far bigger: watching over 300 volunteers organize themselves into specialized squads to help reunite lost pets with their families during humanitarian crises. Technology became the bridge, but people made the real difference. Key moments that shaped our impact: • Developed "Scooby Doo Cadê Você?" AI pet-finding solution (6th place among 2,000+ projects) • Built and led 7 specialized volunteer squads from design to QA • Advanced technical leadership at Fretador while maintaining focus on human-centered solutions • Completed Alura's Tech Lead certification, strengthening our ability to guide teams effectively • I started learning and practicing French at TALKNTALK through an invitation from my friend Phillipe Soares who recommended the platform coauthor to get an overview of my activity on LinkedIn.
