Fundraising is broken. There's no sugar-coating things. Our inboxes are filled to the brim with free webinars promising the latest and the greatest. We're deluged with information, yet fundraising numbers have never been worse. The latest from the Fundraising Effectiveness Project (FEP), paints a discouraging picture. Donors were down 7.6% and new donors were down 16.9%. Then the other day I got this email from Valerie: “Donors – both individuals and corporations – are exhausted, weary, and frustrated.” Our sector is calling out for a return to the basics. And that’s exactly what you’ll get with Fundraising Fundamentals Summer Camp. It’s a program that’s guaranteed to raise more money for your mission through all three summer months — resulting in your best ever year-end appeal. And it will train your brain and your mindset to take on whatever the world throws at us next. https://lnkd.in/dqmYWjc8

This week, 6 Degrees Consulting Inc and Wealth Bridge launched the Legacy Planning initiative, a testament to the power of collaboration and innovative thinking in addressing the financial challenges of our charities and community organizations. The highlight of the evening was a remarkable legacy donation from a dedicated community entrepreneur - Varan Karunanantham, to the SAAAC Autism Centre, aiding their life-changing work for families in need. Legacy Planning is not just about safeguarding wealth; it's about channeling your resources to leave a lasting impact. Our holistic approach integrates financial management, estate structuring, and philanthropic guidance to ensure your assets are protected and your legacy thoughtfully crafted. Together, we blend Wealth Bridge's expertise in estate planning and financial strategies with 6DC's innovative funding solutions, redefining how we meet immediate and long-term financial needs in our community. We’re thrilled by the possibilities this partnership opens and the positive ripple effects it promises. This memorable evening marks the first step in a broader initiative, and we look forward to unveiling it to the wider community next year. Join us as we build momentum for sustainable impact.

The South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) recently awarded a $4,000 South Dakota Fund grant to Faith Alive Community Church. Funding will assist in providing funds for BelieveFest, an annual event that provides much needed school supplies to approximately 900 children from families with financial need. BelieveFest began as a way to respond to the high number of families in the Huron area who struggle financially to provide their school-aged children with their basic necessities for school. By following the mission of Faith Alive Community Church, to serve within the church, their community and around the world, BelieveFest has grown through volunteers and donations and now helps school-aged children throughout Beadle County by providing school supplies to start the school year and gives them the confidence to succeed academically To learn more about funding opportunities offered by the SDCF, please visit our website at https://ow.ly/1zHl50TUriA #SDCF #FaithAliveChurch #BelieveFest #CommunityImpact
