Stop wasting your f*ing life waiting for weekends. Your calendar is f*ing you over. Take it back. (2 F-words in 2 lines ... I'm not usually like that ... but this is serious) This year, I stopped letting time control me. Instead, I took it back. Here’s what I did in 2024 that changed everything: 🌟 I slowed down. Seriously—when’s the last time you just stopped? Not to scroll. Not to check email. But to actually pause and breathe? Slowing down isn’t lazy. It’s smart. When you slow down, you stop running in circles and start moving with purpose. Turns out, less rushing = more results. 🌟 I embraced the 24-hour mindset instead. Let me ask you something: Who decided you have to work in blocks? Time doesn’t work that way, and neither should you. This year, I blended my work, life, and fun into a 24-hour rhythm. Some days, I worked late. On other days, I napped at 2 PM. And guess what? Everything got done, and I felt more alive than ever. Here’s what I learned: ⚡ Slowing down doesn’t slow you down. ⚡ Breaking free from outdated routines gives you freedom. ⚡ Time isn’t about hours—it’s about what you make of them. So, here’s your wake-up call for 2025: Stop waiting for time to find you. Go take it. Say no to the schedules that don’t serve you. Say yes to slowing down, blending life, and working, the way you want. Time is your greatest asset. Respect it! #Reflection2024 #ReframeYourTime #TakeBackControl

⭐ Wrapping Up 2024: A Long Weekend to Recharge and Refocus⭐ As the last days of the 2024 approach, many of us find ourselves in a reflective mindset. The long weekend ahead offers a rare opportunity to pause, recharge, and realign for the year ahead. But how can we make the most of this precious time while maintaining a balance between rest and productivity? Here are some ideas to maximize the final stretch of the year: 1️⃣ Reflect on 2024: Take a moment to evaluate the highs and lows. What did you learn? What challenges helped you grow? This reflection can serve as a foundation for setting more meaningful goals in 2025. 2️⃣ Plan Ahead: Use this time to set achievable goals for the first quarter of 2025. Break them into actionable steps and set priorities that align with your personal and professional aspirations. 3️⃣ Revisit Hobbies: Whether it’s reading, painting, or simply cooking a new recipe, dedicating time to hobbies can re-energize your creativity and bring a sense of joy. 4️⃣ Connect Meaningfully: Spend quality time with loved ones or connect with someone you've lost touch with. Building relationships can provide a sense of belonging and warmth during the holiday season. 5️⃣ Rest and Recharge: Productivity doesn’t always mean doing more. Sometimes, it’s about slowing down. Prioritize rest so you can step into the new year with renewed energy and focus. Let’s use this long weekend not just to end 2024 but to lay the groundwork for a fulfilling and successful 2025. #YearEndReflections #LongWeekendGoals #ProductiveMindset

I used to hustle 24/7 — Here’s how I now work only on what I love 🌟 When I started my journey, it was all hustle. Late nights, weekends, endless checklists. I thought working harder meant I’d reach my goals faster. But instead, I found myself feeling burnt out and unfulfilled. Here’s what I realized — and what I wish I’d known sooner: 1. Productivity Isn’t About Time, It’s About Energy Working 12-hour days might seem productive, but if your energy is drained, the quality suffers. Now, I focus on high-energy tasks and give myself permission to rest and recharge. 2. Delegate and Automate Relentlessly I used to wear every hat—sales, marketing, customer service. Now? I delegate or automate every repetitive task. This allows me to spend time on high-impact work I actually enjoy. 3. Set Boundaries to Protect Your Time Saying “no” felt impossible at first. But setting boundaries — on calls, meetings, and even social media — has helped me create time to work on projects that truly inspire me. 4. Focus on Your Zone of Genius Hustling 24/7 meant doing everything, including tasks I didn’t love or excel at. Now, I focus on my strengths and passions — the work that lights me up and drives real growth. 5. Design Your Day with Intention I plan my day around work I love. Mornings are for creative and focused work, afternoons for strategy and calls, and evenings for personal time. It’s a balance that feels sustainable and rewarding. What happened when I made the shift? 💡 - My productivity *increased* because I was working from a place of energy, not exhaustion. - I rediscovered the *joy* in what I do, which reignited my passion. - I started achieving more in less time — and felt more fulfilled doing it. If you’re still grinding 24/7, consider this: It’s not about doing more; it’s about doing what matters. 💬 Do you love everything you’re working on right now? Drop a comment and share what you’re passionate about! #WorkLifeBalance #Productivity #MindsetShift #EntrepreneurLife #IntentionalLiving

What I'm grateful for in 2024... Time. Just, time. Time can fly right by when we're doing something exciting or when we're in a tense situation. Time can just crawl on forever when we're bored. Time is relative after all. But what I think about a lot is “time-scale” (or duration) because it makes all the difference in my own work in climate resilience. So here's my fascination... Do the things we do affect how we feel about time? Or does time-scale instead affect how we feel & what we do? ~~~ How do you best use time over a year? 💗 Growth - Set out to experience and explore new things, new perspectives and new relationships. How do you best use time in a week? 🔁 Rhythm - Build a personal routine of work intensity, relationship sustaining commitments, and constant investments into business & personal goals. How do you best use time in each day? ☀️ Consistency - Create habits through small actions that become the bedrock for everything else. Meditate, workout, read, write, connect, sleep... How do you best use time in an hour? ⏳ Efficacy - Find & use systems to help you decide what to do, or NOT do; it's not how fast you do stuff but how well you choose. ~~~ One final thing that dramatically jolted my thoughts about time this December: How do you best use time in a second? 💝 Presence. Because in a fleeting moment, the only thing practical is attention & awareness. I learnt this on a dark icy winter road as my car skidded forward and crashed into the one in front. A split second. A heightened presence of mind. A last minute maneuver. Somehow managed to minimize damage and avoid injury from a bad situation. ...which ironically hints at possible answers to the final question: How do you best use time over a lifetime? ~~~ Time is precious & limited; but time is also persistent & endless. Here's to every minute and second of 2024 that brought you joy! #time #gratitude 📸 Happiness is finding a pocket of time to write from a random cafe in a ski village, with the snow outside floating across weightlessly, endlessly.

I am Slowing Down… Just for 2 Weeks Before the Big Stop! 🎄🎅 In my early self-employed days, I had one speed: full throttle. 🚀 I’d go flat out right up until the day my holiday started, only to spend those “two weeks off” fire fighting and still working most days. Sound familiar? But now, with a few more years under my belt (and maybe a little wisdom 🤔), I’ve learned the importance of managing my time and service effectively not just for my clients, but for my own sanity. 🧠💆♂️ This Christmas, I’m planning something I’ve never done before: taking THREE full weeks off. 🎉 It feels like it’s time. 2024 has been a year of highs and lows. I’ve navigated challenges, embraced growth, and processed the loss of some very special people in my life. 💔 It’s been turbulent at times, and while I’ve been here doing my best, I know I haven’t always been as present as I’d like to be. So, this Christmas, I’m hitting pause. For me, for my family, for my mental clarity. 🛑✨ Self-employment isn’t just about working hard; it’s about knowing when to slow down, reset, and prioritise yourself. If you don’t, who will? Here’s to a well-deserved break, a stronger mindset, and a refreshed outlook for 2025. 🙌 #SelfEmployedLife #TimeToReset #ChristmasBreak #WorkLifeBalance #MentalHealth #PersonalGrowth #LessonsLearned #WellbeingFirst

"Friday + Year-End Hustle: Let’s Wrap This Up!" It’s Friday — the last one of the year! The finish line is in sight, but before we all dive into holiday mode (or pretend to work while mentally on vacation), let’s take a second to give ourselves a little credit. Celebrate the Wins: Managed to not lose your mind in 2024? That’s a win. Survived Zoom meetings, emails, and endless Slack notifications? Victory! If you’ve done any of these, you’re officially a champion. 🎉 Set the Stage for 2025: Yes, we’re all pretending to be super productive this last week. But if you’ve ticked off a few to-dos and cleared out your inbox even a little, you’ve earned a gold star. 🏅 Let’s just pretend we’re all "wrapping things up" instead of procrastinating until January. Finish Strong (ish): We’re almost there! Just a few more hours to close out the year with grace... or at least with enough energy to get to the next holiday party without looking like a zombie. 🧟♀️ #FridayFeels #FinishStrong #Productivity #WorkHardPlayHard #EndOfYear #Motivation #KeepGoing #OfficeVibes #2024WrapUp #FridayVibes #NewYearReady #WorkLifeBalance #CaffeineAndConquer #SurvivedTheWeek
