ROI – RETURN ON IMPACT Exclusive Collection’s senior client network, FLOCK, is a bold statement: - Bring together key clients for brave conversations headlined by some of the brightest minds in business. It’s an opportunity to showcase a hotel, to underline how B Corp is lived out by the Collection and most significantly it cements client relationships. Flock, Comfortable with the Uncomfortable was bold, brave and it challenged behaviours. We tabled topics that often fill leaders with fear. And thanks to the respected voices of our thought leading contributors, we navigated, learned, shared; finding comfort in the uncomfortable. Businesses often quantify results as Return on Investment, and while there’s no getting away from the FD’s glare, FLOCK can also be quantified by Return on Impact as the comments in Stephanie’s post highlight:
COMFORTABLE WITH THE UNCOMFORTABLE We've just concluded our 5th Flock; Exclusive Collection's senior leadership network and gathering of brilliant minds, outlooks, and insights. Our conversations were deliberate and unapologetic. We chose Royal Berkshire Hotel to host the event as it's our 'home from home' and the perfect antidote to topics that could trigger. Thanks to our standout speakers Sinéad Burke, Matt Stallard, Mark Stephenson; we fronted neurodiversity, disability and cancer in the workplace. With Chris Morris, Ben Whattam and Chloe Combi we talked money and meta-data, truth v fact, reliability, resurgent activities and diversity as a catalyst for innovation. Sam Conniff - the eponymous uncertainty expert - put the science and data to uncertainty and mapped out opportunity. We learned about the frontal cortex and team tactics with James A. King and Dr Benjamin Rosenblatt. Dr Phil Hopley put Kevin Ellis CBE through his paces to look at failure as an enabler for making bigger decisions and how employees now put more trust in their employers than politicians or the media. Jason Fox headlined the evening activities while Henry Coutinho-Mason steered our two days with precision; bracing delegates for punchy conversations balanced with tangible solutions. We framed Flock five as 'Comfortable with the uncomfortable' - we conclude the experience with uncomfortable as a new narrative for opportunity, growth and professional development. Thank you to our amazing contributors for your insights and to our guests for embracing such an impactful two days.

When it comes to building a culture of compassionate dialogue, it’s not enough to just say, “From here on out, we’re all going to talk to each other compassionately!” Without giving people a framework for how to do that, nothing will change. Thankfully, there are specific tools you can use to help everyone in your organization practice compassionate dialogue.

Today was our QBR day, and it's always my favorite day of our five-chapter year. It's a chance to celebrate our team's wins and, most importantly, the learnings from our therapists and how we can better serve them. Reflecting on our journey, we see where we've made good decisions to serve our therapists and where we've had missteps that seemed right at the time for our business. Striking this balance in company building is tough, but it becomes easier when your teams, from executives to staff, stay close to the customer – in our case, the therapists. With each chapter, I can see us getting closer to our goals. The upcoming chapter is particularly exciting as we focus on three key themes from our therapists: Reducing the pain and rewarding the completion of chores Therapist personalization and value adds Access to human experts Lastly, as building cohesiveness and buy-in across teams is important, here's a snapshot from our OKR doc that Kristin Kaiser Mulligan put together to motivate the team around the year. With a value proposition heavily driven by tax, we have a business that operates much like a climbing stage in the Tour de France. This small thematic touch reiterates why our team believes so deeply in KK as our day-to-day operational leader and Company President.

🌞 Next up on our Summer Refresh: Holding a Summer Strategy Session! Now is an excellent time to organize a Summer Strategy Session focused on refining processes and enhancing efficiency for the upcoming NAIC annual filing season. The first step? A comprehensive review with the entire team involved in this year's NAIC annual filing process. During this session, it's important to: 1. Review which processes went smoothly 2. Identify the most cumbersome processes 3. Highlight areas that are overly manual 4. Pinpoint processes that would be excellent candidates for improvement It's crucial to harness insights directly from the team, document findings, and prioritize enhancements, so a plan can be drafted for future process transformation. The team at ARC Strategic Services (a TAC4 Company) is here to support your journey by joining your strategy session to help evaluate your processes, providing tailored improvement suggestions, and assisting with seamless implementation. Let's elevate your operations together! #ProcessImprovement #SummerStrategy #TeamCollaboration #BusinessTransformation
