Well it’s been a few weeks since Smartsheet Engage. I wanted to take a little time to reflect and see what really stood out as impactful. Immediately after the event, everything is exciting. But a few weeks later, what sticks? For me, it’s not any one feature. While I can’t wait for the new table view to be released, at the end of the day it’s still about how versatile the program is. I have worked with different software packages over the years, but I’ve yet to find one that is as flexible and universally applicable as Smartsheet. Kudos to Smartsheet for developing the balance between power/capability and ease of use. Whatever your business or industry, Smartsheet can help you manage and organize your operation. The greatest value being that you get to define how to apply it and the information you need to manage your business/operation/process. So if you’ve been searching for the holy grail of software to help you manage the extensive amount of information we consume each day, sorry, it doesn’t exist. While our team's use of Smartsheet isn't new, there's been a shift in how frequently we use the platform. In the past, our teams had in-person conversations that seldom found their way onto Smartsheet. Today, our teams leverage this tool more than ever before. The results have been significant, with previously undocumented conversations happening online in real-time. While nuances and details of conversations may have been forgotten in the past, they are all visible on Smartsheet – this means we can revisit and reference them whenever we need to.
