Myth: Accommodating employees with disabilities is too expensive. ✅ Fact: The reality is that most workplace accommodations are affordable and often cost much less than employers assume. Creating an inclusive and accessible workplace involves removing barriers that may prevent your employees from doing their best at work. For many individuals with a non-apparent disability, workplace barriers may be “non-apparent” too. Communication practices, meeting etiquette, or implicit social or cultural expectations can present as barriers too.
