One of the reasons I keep going back to my Toastmasters Club Berkeley Square Speakers is not only a great learning environment and camaraderie but it’s also the quality of the speakers we have coming back to the Club. It was a great pleasure that I was able to have a nice chat after the meeting this morning with both Cat Kipling a long-standing member of Berkeley Square Speakers a Distinguished Toastmaster, Speaker Coach and one of the people that inspired me to keep coming when I first joined in May 2017, but also to see Simon Bucknall ex runner up in the TM World Championships. Both aren't just great speakers but public speaking coaches in demand from international clients and I sometimes ask myself thinking ("why do you keep coming, you don't need to be here"), but it's their humility and striving for continued excellence that brings them back. Rubbing shoulders with these 2 means I’m Rocking with the Best. As creative John Hegarty once said one of his rules for excellence is rubbing shoulders with the best. But it's also a 'fun and welcoming atmosphere' we agreed was a hallmark of our Club that goes along with a 'serious intent' to all improve ourselves. So if you’re interested in improving your public speaking, come to Berkeley Square Speakers at The Grove Chapel on a Wednesday morning at 7:15am. https://lnkd.in/eriqx2se #publicspeaking
