Given the skills shortage we have in our industry, we have to do something about it! The skills that are required to become a professional kitchen/ bathroom designer are much higher than they used to be. They face challenges of compliance and complicated service requirements. They also have a duty of care to their clients to keep up with current trends, styles and colours. These design projects then need to be installed by skilled highly trained installers. None of this can be guaranteed without education! What better way to gain that education than apprenticeships. We need to get behind it.

A great inclusive apprenticeship standard that I believe other Kbb business could review. https://findapprenticeshiptraining.apprenticeships.education.gov.uk/courses/23
