♀️ May is National Women’s Health Month, also called Women’s Health Awareness Month, dedicated to encouraging women and girls to prioritize their health and wellbeing. Each day from May 12-18, a different topic will be shared to remind everyone to care for their physical, mental, social, and emotional health. 🏥 The theme for this year is “Women’s Health, Whole Health: Prevention, Care and Wellbeing,” aimed at empowering women to take charge of their health journeys and shining a light on health issues unique to women. 🫶 Women often prioritize the well-being of others over their own. This serves as a reminder to prioritize SELF-CARE! Here are some top tips to enhance your well-being: • Schedule regular checkups, including a yearly well-woman exam and a visit with your OBGYN. Be sure to track any concerns and openly discuss these with your healthcare provider • Incorporate physical activity into your routine. • Maintain a healthy and balanced diet. • Prioritize your mental health and learn how to cope with stress. #NWHW #CDC #WHAM @womenshealth

As Men’s Health Week comes to a close, let's reflect on the significance of addressing men’s well-being. Bringing awareness to men’s health is essential as it reduces stigma, promotes early intervention, and enhances mental and physical well-being. By promoting open dialogues, we have created a supportive environment where men can comfortably address their health, despite pressures of society. Conversations about well-being are vital in the workplace as they help pinpoint individual needs and direct individuals to necessary support services. By integrating well-being discussions into daily interactions, we establish a safe and inclusive space for men to openly express their health concerns. #MensHealth #WellBeing #SupportiveEnvironment

This is unacceptable 😡 Hey everyone, Jess here. I need to talk about a distressing trend that’s becoming all too common. I've been speaking with many of you, and what's clear is the frustration and helplessness you feel when you're told 'everything is normal' when every inch of you screams that it's not. This kind of medical gaslighting can leave you feeling dismissed and isolated. It's deeply concerning that in a world so advanced, many are still struggling to be heard and validated in their own health journey. And it’s why I’ve focused my energy on changing the narrative, on advocating for those voices that go unheard, and on supporting you in recognizing and trusting the wisdom of your own body. This community is here to empower you to believe in your experiences and to find sustainable paths toward wellness. We're here to ensure no one has to accept 'normal' when it doesn't reflect their reality. If you're tired of not feeling seen or heard, I’m here for you. Comment GASLIT below or send me DM—I'll respond with resources and support that acknowledge and validate your unique experience. Let's stand together against medical gaslighting and advocate for our health.
