Get a Head Start not a Hangover this holiday season!! I know that year end is chaotic. Especially in the homebuilder space... I've been there far too many times than I wish to admit!! 😜 Whether you're a home builder or a trade partner, this is a very busy time of year. Sometimes it's all you can do just to make it through the days and hope you get to New Year's Eve unscathed. On top of all that you've got these holidays to contend with... both taking work time away and trying to balance that time with family and loved ones. Every year you say, "There has to be a better way!!" While there's no silver bullet, there are some simple things you can do to begin the transition from firefighter to fire Marshall!! From Ordinary to Warrior‼️ I take this time of year, When the system is getting stressed to the max to look for those areas of opportunity that I'm going to focus on starting January 1. It's not a New Year's resolution... It's a new year preparation that we can all do in advance so we can hit the ground running improving our business on January 1... Today is every solopreneur’s favorite holiday… Most of us started our businesses because we wanted more FREEDOM. More time freedom to spend with our spouse and children. More time freedom to focus our energies on what we’re passionate about and build a business around it. Freedom to wear gym clothes all day while working after not showering and forgetting to brush my teeth until noon…. Maybe I should have saved that for my diary, but a real solopreneur can relate 🤷🏻♂️🤣 But somewhere along the way, we realize we’ve just built another job. Demanding clients. Deadlines. Etc. Chasing revenue. More. More. More. It never seems to be enough. Because we NEED more money to pay our bills, send Suzie to daycare, go on vacations, etc. That’s when you realize, being your own boss is only half the battle. You also need to learn how to manage your money and optimize for the present and the future. You need FINANCIAL FREEDOM or you’ll never truly have the TIME FREEDOM that you deserve.
