Happy Veterans Day to all the brave men and women who served our country and fought for our freedom! You are appreciated beyond words. To all Veterans and their family: THANK YOU for everything you do for our country and our freedom! Last week, Sibanye-Stillwater Reldan collected unwanted Halloween candy from our employees. Today we donated over 50 lbs of unwanted Halloween candy to our deployed troops. Just a little something to feel like home. #veteransday #givingback #weareone

Unemployment is not comfortable for anyone - it can bring financial uncertainty, pressure on relationships, stress related health issues and risk of housing issues. Military personnel commit a large portion of their time, energy and years of commitment to military service. Often undertaking roles that are like no other, are involved in situations that many can't even start to comprehend and suffer with injuries and illness that other areas of life would not bring. This is why it is important that Veterans who have given so much already have the support and guidance needed to get them into secure employment. With help and assistance to get them on track to a brighter future. https://lnkd.in/ebUxyk-k To donate- Text VETERANS to 70470 to donate £10 Or VETERANS20 to donate £20 Texts cost the chosen donation amount plus one standard network rate message

As a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), WarCollar’s commitment to veterans is at the core of who we are. Our very own Rochelle Ranson is participating in the DAV 5K because she believes in giving back, not only for herself, but for her friends, family, and coworkers who are disabled veterans. For WarCollar Industries, LLC supporting causes like the DAV 5K means more than sponsorship—it’s about honoring the sacrifices made by our military veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, many of whom are part of our own workforce. We recognize the immense value these individuals bring, and initiatives like this reflect our company’s dedication to creating a supportive, inclusive environment for veterans and their families. From an HR perspective, this initiative underscores WarCollar’s mission to build a culture that values service, dedication, and community. When we rally behind causes that support veterans, it strengthens our employees’ sense of purpose and pride in working for a company that is not only veteran-owned but deeply committed to veteran well-being. It shows our current and future team members that WarCollar is more than just a workplace—we are a family that stands by those who have served and continue to serve. The DAV (Disabled American Veterans) organization supports over 1 million veterans annually by providing essential services—from medical care to financial assistance, education, and employment opportunities—all free of charge. While most #Veterans transition smoothly into civilian life, some face service-related challenges that expand the federal governments capacity to address. For those of us in the #VeteranSpace, the need often feels, unending. Consequently, communities, often unfamiliar with #military needs, must support these Veterans. Well intentioned people across #nonprofits, #government, and #CharitableOrganizations, assume what a Veteran needs, and often duplicate services or put resources into solving a problem that doesn't exist. At Veterans Bridge Home, collective impact, remains at the forefront of our mission. Using technology systems like Unite Us with our community partners like Mecklenburg County, North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and The Jeff Cohen Charitable Foundation allows for us to provide wrap around services across the social determinates of health. Even better? We can document those instances to demonstrate what #CharlotteVeterans greatest needs currently are and target our efforts on ensuring those partnerships remain strong. #VeteransBridgeHome #BeTheBridge

I know I have friends who are ready to step up into #businessleadership Reach out to Patrick Flood and get your name on the list. Veterans often face challenges transitioning to civilian life, including finding stable employment and purpose after their service. Many are eager to start their own businesses but lack the resources and guidance to do so successfully. Without the proper support, these brave men and women may feel lost and unfulfilled, unable to achieve their dreams of entrepreneurship and financial independence. Join us in supporting our heroes by donating to our program, which provides them with the mentorship, resources, and funding they need to purchase and run their own small businesses. Together, we can empower our vets and strengthen our communities. #SupportOurHeroes #VeteranEntrepreneurs #EmpowermentThroughBusinessOwnership. #veterans #smallbusiness #entrepeneur #american #military
