📋 Streamlining Form Design for Better Usability! 🖥️ When it comes to forms, less is more. ❌ On the left, too many text fields, dropdowns, and unnecessary divisions create a cluttered and confusing user experience, with 10 fixation points that can easily overwhelm the user. ✅ On the right, we see a cleaner, more streamlined form with fewer text fields and dropdowns, reducing the number of fixations to just 5. This leads to a smoother, faster, and more intuitive process for the user. Design Tip: Simplifying your forms not only improves usability but also reduces the time it takes to complete them, leading to higher form submission rates. What’s your approach to designing user-friendly forms? #UXDesign #FormDesign #UIUX #WebDesign #UserExperience #DesignTips

Hello friends 👋🏽 안녕하세요 😃 One mistake a lot of designers do is creating designs without doing proper user research. Here are 4 Reasons to Prioritize User Research Before Designing: 1. User-Centric Solutions: Ensures designs address actual user needs and problems, not assumptions. 2. Cost Efficiency: Reduces the need for costly revisions by getting it right the first time. 3. Enhanced Usability: Leads to intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. 4. Informed Decisions: Provides data-driven insights that guide the design process, enhancing overall product success. Here is the project I am working on : https://lnkd.in/gSUEDvcZ #UserResearch #DesignThinking #UXDesign #ProductDevelopment #CustomerExperience

🚶♂️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 In the world of design, there's often a significant difference between the intended path and the path users naturally choose. 🌟 The image below perfectly illustrates this point. While the paved sidewalk represents the 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 🛣️, the worn dirt path highlights the 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 🥾—where people actually walk. As designers, we must strive to understand and prioritize user behavior and preferences. 🌐 Creating intuitive, user-centered designs means observing and adapting to how users interact with our products and services in real life, not just how we envision them. 💡 Let's build experiences that truly resonate with our users. ❤️ #UserExperience #UXDesign #ProductDesign #DesignThinking

Two platforms, Runway & D-ID two different approaches to login/sign-up pages. But here’s the question: Should we embrace these unique designs, or should we aim for a consistent pattern based on design heuristics? On one side, distinct styles help each brand stand out and cater to specific user needs. On the other, Jakob’s Law tells us users expect familiar patterns to avoid confusion. So, should we prioritize brand uniqueness, or is a common pattern the key to a smoother user experience? What do you think? Is consistency in UI always better, or is there room for flexibility? Happy usability day #UXDesign #Heuristics #ConsistencyVsCreativity #DesignPatterns”

💡 Designing Effective Checkboxes Checkboxes are one of the most common yet powerful UI components in design. But getting them right is crucial for the user experience. From their simple anatomy to their different states (enabled, disabled, hovered, focused, and pressed), checkboxes should be intuitive and easy to interact with. 🔹 Best practices to keep in mind: Simplicity is key. Stick to familiar designs and avoid adding complexity. Clickable labels: Make sure both the checkbox and its label are easy to select. Use vertical lists: They improve readability and make navigation easier. Clear and concise labels: Keep the language positive and straightforward to guide users effectively. Checkboxes might seem small, but their impact on usability is huge. Keep them consistent and accessible in your designs! #UXDesign #UIDesign #DesignSystem #UXBestPractices #ProductDesign #UserExperience

User-centric design isn’t a buzzword; it’s a necessity. In my experience, the most successful products are the ones that are built with the user at the center of every decision. By focusing on user needs, pain points, and goals, you create products that are not only functional but loved by users. It’s not about what you think is best—it’s about what works best for the user. What’s your approach to ensuring user-centric design? Let’s exchange strategies. #UserCentricDesign #UXBestPractices #DesignForUsers #HumanCenteredDesign #UXInsights
