I think a crucial flaw in the influencer industry is the people who get the job of being the managers. Ambassadors and influencers have gotten an up-and-down rep over the last few years simply due to the wrong people in charge of working and finding them. In my experience, the community manager needs experience working in the platforms and working with brands themselves to full understand how hard it is to be a creator. 9/10 a creator will leave a company not because they want to but because of the experience they get from the manager. SO brands choose carefully - look at experience on the platforms not on the resume. Creators, choose your companies wisely on what will give you the paycheck ( if applicable) but also the treatment you deserve.

When I started posting on LinkedIn in October 2023, I thought I needed to... → post daily at a very specific time of the day → comment on (at least) 20 posts right before and after posting → format every post the same way so people would remember me The problem with this advice is that everyone is doing the same. But if everyone does the same then how do you stand out? 🤷🏻♀️ Here are 4 things I've done which worked for me... → Write the way I speak, in other words, I wrote the entire post without formatting it first, and when satisfied, I reworded it so that the intention is clear → Comment on posts I feel I can truly add value to. Better if these posts are published by "influencers" in my space, if not, then it makes no difference. → Stay away from LinkedIn when writing posts to remain focused on my core message → Post 3x a week to stay motivated and excited about writing This personal branding thing shouldn't be about you becoming a robot. It should be about you becoming better at writing and sharing ideas that add value to your life and your readers. #personalbranding #personalgrowth #writing #linkedin

****If LinkedIn influencers were to write about lizards on LinkedIn***** Here's Why Lizards Would Flop in the Corporate World: It's very important to take a stand and stay firm in your position: Lizards, unfortunately, are known for their inability to stick to one spot—literally and figuratively. They have dominance over people, but in a negative way : Sure, they can scare someone by falling from the ceiling, but that's not exactly the type of leadership we're looking for. Outside noises bother them : People shout, and that scares them, even though they have the potential to cause quite a stir themselves. A bit too sensitive for the hustle and bustle of the corporate world. Just falling at the most minor inconvenience: it shows cowardice and a lack of confidence. They can't seem to learn how to stay firm on their stance, which isn't inspiring for a professional setting. Inconsistency is the real deal-breaker :They're here, there, and everywhere, but never quite where they need to be when it counts.
