Queen Creek and Buckeye are the top two cities ranked for fastest growing housing markets. Queen Creeks population has increased by 128% since 2022 with Buckeye following behind at an 81% increase. As more people begin to move further out of the valley, we will see a rise in those commuting to the workplace who cant work remote leading to an increase in traffic, CO2 pollution, and expenses associated with commuting such as insurance, depreciation, and vehicle maintenance. Shared transportation solutions are key to sustainable growth. Helping to eliminate traffic and parking congestion, lowering single occupancy vehicles and CO2 and helping valley residents save money on their commuting costs. More people moving to the valley is inevitable and great for our economy. But we have to be forward thinking about what the future commute will look like when housing and population increases begin. AZ Big Media reports that Queen Creek is the fastest-growing housing market in Arizona. From 2013 to 2022, the city’s housing stock increased to almost 20,000 residences, a growth rate of 123%. During the same period, the population increased by 128% to more than 64,000. Who would want to live in a mobile home park … Good question, but if you take away the stigma and really compare it to other options, can be a great place for affordable housing. Let’s compare it to an apartment… In a mobile home park: -             Tenants have a yard -             Tenants do not have to share walls with neighbors -             When tenants own their home outright, they only have to pay space rent (which is usually less than half of apartment rent) -             Tenants have a sense of community within the park So if you really think about living in a mobile home park, there are a lot of benefits compared to living in an apartment. Mobile home parks are a great source of affordable housing and most provide a great place to live for the tenants.
