Wearing the same pair every day doesn’t give them time to dry out, which can lead to odor buildup and even mold growth inside the shoes. Alternating between different pairs allows the leather to breathe and prolongs their lifespan. Maintenance Tip: Try not to wear the same pair of leather shoes two days in a row. Over the last 4 years I have been working on a lil’ dream of mine. You might know my happy place is on a ski slope sometimes followed by an elevated surface at après. I was a ski racer, then an instructor, now just a lazy ski bum. But the truth is I LOATHE outerwear. The “cute”stuff doesn’t fit well, it’s usually not waterproof or windproof. And the technical stuff looks like a cardboard box. Vacation Molly (named after my alter ego who is a whoooole lotta fun) is my dream outerwear. The ski pants fit like your fave athleisure (that’s right, I’m talking 4-way stretch fabric and 360-degree elastic waistbands). And so they should! The jackets are cute, flattering, and fun… but totally waterproof, windproof, and breathable. I put the details I’ve always dreamed of into these pieces. Bows, chapstick and granola bar pockets, XL oversized hidden hoods and little Easter eggs to give you, or the person behind you a little smile throughout the day.
