3 Launch Tips from our CEO Rajiv Ayyangar: 1. Make a really clear and compelling tagline. Clear is better than clever. "You cannot go viral if I can't understand what your product does!" 2. In your demo, show the UI. It can be a simple Loom. A simple Loom video is better than a fancy animation that doesn't say what your product does. 3. Add your shoutouts. In the new Shoutout section, add products you used to build your product (ex. Vercel or OpenAI). Then, tweet shoutouts and tag those companies and founders to get them to like, comment, and hopefully retweet your launch. What a privilege to spend 45 minutes talking all things Premium with the wonderful Tom M. Novak and Anastasiia Fedorova of Canvas8. We covered the eternal dialogue between Premium and Luxury, the cultural forces driving more "elevated" consumption, how Premium is showing up in "mundane" categories, community curation, localisation and more. Wow, but I do love working things out with likeminded people in real time. On-the-spot thinking and open-ended questions always throw up new and unexpected connections - cancelling out the overthink, and rapidly surfacing what matters most. When the dynamic is right, joyful interaction is a powerful navigation device - because surrendering to the energy and following the fun is, so often, where the best answer is. If you'd like to involve me in a panel or workshop, I'd love to know about it - just drop me a line. Watch the "Premium Next" Deep Dive with Canvas8 here: https://lnkd.in/et6jn7kk

A common problem I see in creatives Spending too much time talking about the problem Talk about it for one quick scene, so people know they're in the right place Then focus the rest on their desired situation with your product

How to come up with great content ideas (my “cheat code)... It can be challenging to come up with endless amounts of content, emails, ad copy, and more. Especially if you’re staring at a blank screen. I have a number of tools and frameworks that help me but I’ll share the easiest one that I turn to the most. I look back on my day yesterday and ask myself: “What’s something that happened yesterday that could make a good story or lesson that I could share with my audience?” That’s it. I simply think about yesterday, scroll through the events of the day in my mind, find one, and then write about it. And, I do my best to ensure that it’s actually useful for my audience. As an example, recently, I had to drive to Mclaren to pick up the 720 (it was there for its annual servicing). I drove the 570 (which I was dropping off anyways for its own issue that needed fixing) at “warp speed” to get there in time before they closed for the day. I arrive and the car is all ready to go. But then I turn on the car and am greeted by a host of fault lights - essentially warnings from various sensors not working. So what was supposed to be a simple drop-off and pick-up turned into an hour of troubleshooting with the service team. They didn’t feel safe having me drive it home (nor did I). So I left the car there, got back in the 570 and drove back home. 45 minutes both ways. One might think that was a waste of time and objectively it was. But I focused on the silver lining - I got to go for a drive on a beautiful sunny day. That’s why I got the cars in the first place. To enjoy the open roads and let it rip (within reason of course). It’s easy to get upset if an outcome doesn’t happen but if we can enjoy the journey, I think we can handle these situations with more grace. ------- There you go. Took me 5 minutes to write this post. And hopefully, it gives you a simple mnemonic for sharing more of your awesomeness with the world. Yuri
