As Thanksgiving approaches, I'm reflecting on my career transformation journey and feeling immense gratitude for the wisdom shared by mentors, colleagues, and new connections who have been so generous with their time and insights.
The past few months have been about wayfinding – understanding that a clear destination isn't always necessary, but a compass and direction are. I’ve learned that I thrive in cultures where I can architect solutions, simplify complexity, and foster talent development. My superpowers lie in balancing data with human intuition, turning challenges into opportunities, identifying the big picture, solving problems by understanding the “why,” and building bridges across generations.
My network has taught me to be brave, stay agile, and be open to opportunities as they arise. They’ve encouraged me to be intentional about the opportunities I seek out and be selective about what I’m applying for. Each conversation has reinforced that career growth isn't linear – it’s about transforming challenges, staying curious, and creating meaningful connections.
