Offline Faculty Process Situation 1️⃣ Offline or online process, if faculty doesn't get succeed at institute feedback level, you will remove, then why to keep process offline if it is very far distance. 2️⃣ Offline processes become horrible when institutes don't want to give single penny for travelling. Because they know faculties are unemployed and destitute they will come by hook or by crook. 3️⃣ Question papers usually are worthless given by coaching institutes, out of syllabus, deleted syllabus, strange pattern. 4️⃣ After entire process, if salary expectation is too high, sorry sir you couldn't crack the demo. To University Students! I have come to realize that the transition from classroom learning to the field is quite different. The practical application diverges from theoretical knowledge acquired in school. In the field, mastering a skill before graduation is essential. This is often lacking among University students but can significantly enhance job prospects. My advice to University students is prioritize skill mastery (atleast one) before entering the workforce for a smoother transition. These insights are just the beginning of my experiences in the field. Stay tuned for more as I wil delve deeper into the professional industry to offer guidance to current students. Universities provide a foundation but real mastery happens in the field through practical experience. Ps: Keep an eye out on my LinkedIn profile and may I kindly ask you all my connections to invite other students to follow me for more updates. #RandomThoughts #FieldExperience #SharingisCaring #UniToWork #Transition

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞? 🤔 Have you ever considered how vastly different 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺 is from 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘣? Sometimes, I feel that it is like chalk and cheese! In 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, everything is built around 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐠𝐲—teachers guide the process, assessments are structured, and students often passively absorb knowledge. 🧑🏫 But the 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 is a completely different environment. There’s 𝘯𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦, 𝘯𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴. Instead, it’s a 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲, where adult learners must set their own goals, solve problems independently, and adapt on the fly (called 𝐇𝐄𝐔𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐎𝐆𝐘). 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: Are universities equipping students for the realities of a fast-changing, AI-driven workplace? Or are we still trapped in outdated models of learning? 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 (especially UG student)? 💭 #UniversityLeadership #WorkplaceLearning #PedagogyVsHeutagogy #AIandEducation #LifelongLearning #SelfDirectedLearning #pedagogy #IndianHigherEducation #IndianEducationSystem #Universities #fresherjobs #campusplacements

Personal employability… My research suggests that more than ever before, employees must proactively manage their personal employability. Yet engagement with voluntary skill development remains low. Failure to engage with the structural changes designed to facilitate self-directed learning for personal employability is fuelling an existing skill shortage and potential productivity problem. Having mapped cognitive biases (see previous posts) that may be affecting the formation or strengthening of learning intentions, I hypothesised that curiosity might help moderate these biases. Learn more about behavioural mapping with this handy guide from the Centre for Advanced Hindsight 👇 https://lnkd.in/etzk6Cc3 But why a curiosity-piquing intervention to promote engagement with skill development? Curiosity… 🔎 Is generative, inducing exploratory behaviours and openness to new information 📚 Can aid learning in the workplace (Kashdan et al., 2018) 🤔 Reduces the potential of succumbing to confirmation and projection biases by helping us generate alternatives (Gino, 2018) ♻ Increases the likelihood of re-evaluation of information previously judged irrelevant (Wright et al., 2018) 🧠 Reduces decision-making errors by engaging the reflective functions of System 2 (Kahneman, 2011); and 👩🎓 Is beneficial to promoting productive, self-directed learning through fostering a positive outlook toward learning (Reio & Ward, 1998), providing the foundation for the formation of a learning intention. How are you taking ownership of your personal employability? Check back next time for the results of my experiment … #futureofwork #skilldevelopment #Behaviouraldesign #Workplacechallenges #curiosity #AHRI

Here's something I've been curious about. What if, we can extract #skills from every facet of our lives to boost #employability? Humans are multifaceted beings with several #knowledge bases throughout a life span. From childhood friendship groups, to #education and religious groups, to parenthood and community and settlements. All of these life points present opportunities to grow and develop #softskills required for meaningful #employment. The question then is this: why are people largely ignorant of these skill #learning opportunities and the skills they have learned from them? The answer; formal education. Now as a masters degree holder, while I will not knock formal education, I will say that to a degree, it has robbed us of an awareness of other bodies of knowledge, so the idea is that you go to school to learn how to get a job. But what if there's another option? What if there are several other options? Stay tuned for more, PraiseGod Omoregie, Employability Development.

Maintaining a full-time job should not hinder one's commitment to continual upskilling and personal growth. Reflect on the diligence applied during academic pursuits, whether it was the preparatory phase for college admission or the intensive study sessions before final examinations. Similarly, post-employment, dedicating oneself to ongoing learning and development is imperative. This level of dedication not only enhances one's professional competencies but also fortifies employability, fostering confidence even amidst fluctuating market conditions. Note: While the screenshot provided may not inherently represent an achievement, it serves as a pertinent example. #hardworkpaysoff #upskill #learningeveryday

For some days now, I've been sharing my thoughts on education systems and youth employability with you for your consideration, so here's another thought. Assuming my math is correct (which I hope it is, my trusty calculator helped), if the average child spends only 40 out of 168 hours in a week in an institution of structured learning, what happens to the other 128 hours? What happens to the culmination of these hours in the life of a child turned teenager, turned young adult, turned adult who spends several hours a week doing other things? Does #education, especially #skill learning, take a break outside the four walls of a #school? Does that then mean that there are no activities in everyday life where a human can learn and develop the skills that will equip them for meaningful #work? If the answer to these questions is a 'yes', then the average person spends the majority of their developmental years 'wasting time'. I have observed this conclusion to be false Here's the unfortunate dilemma though, one of the issues constantly raised in #GloCal #job markers is the skills mismatch of graduates, but I propose something else. What if, we are surrounded around other communities of knowledge and skill development experiences that we are largely ignorant to? What if, like myself, several graduates have picked up unnamed skills from the other 128 hours but do not know how to identify, develop, and highlight them in their #CV? How much #talent then is being missed out on due to this gap? To be continued, PraiseGod Omoregie, Employability Development.
