”If you go back to very old buildings, churches in Europe that are 500 years old, they're sustainable because they're still functional, they're still beautiful, and nobody will ever tear them down. So, this is to build with a certain aesthetic and quality. I think that has to do a lot with sustainability.” Watch this fascinating interview with the renowned architect Peter Pichler. In it, he shares insights about returning to architectural systems that worked over 100 years ago, what it means to be an architect today, what inspires him, and his perspective on architecture in Central and Southeastern Europe. Peter Pichler is the Founder of Peter Pichler Architecture, an award-winning laboratory for architecture based in Milan. He is also a member of the Share Architects Society.
