The right people are what truly make an organization. When you have a team that shares the same values and commitment, it’s not just the work that gets done—it’s the culture that’s built.
As we wrapped up another year, our annual Christmas dinner was the perfect moment to reflect on the incredible people who make this journey so worthwhile. It’s not just the work we do. Happy New Month Everyone. It is a new day and a new month of this year that will never come again. So surprising how time flies. Reminiscing, we can all remember celebrating New Year not long, like it was yesterday. Now it is June. The first half of year 2024 is coming to an end. I hope and pray that all our prayers and expectations will be met in this new month. Today, I implore you to take a short period of time out of your busy schedule to brood. Think of the past months and be grateful for both the little achievements and bourgeois ones. Remember being grateful is the access to more blessings and opportunities. Also do not forget to gauge yourself. Ask yourself thought provoking questions like; - How well have I developed myself within these past months? - What have I learnt that will sharpen my understanding? - How have I made impact on others etc. Ask yourself these questions. They are yardsticks you will use to measure yourself and know your prowess. Remember, Time Waits For No One. Once again, Happy New Month. Ngozi ✍️✍️.

I think this is a lovely connective post from Steven Bartlett. We FEEL bad before we start making positive changes that makes us feel better. The role of cortisol (our stress hormone) in this case, makes us feel bad because it’s prompting us to do something differently. A different job that’s maybe more fulfilling? More social connection? A more balanced life of work, rest, play? Our chemicals are messengers so when we pay attention to the messages and then take action rather than ignoring them, one day you’ll look back and realise that feeling low was the pivotal turning point… where it all started. Not so many years ago, I was working in a LateRooms.com call centre in Manchester on Christmas Day, booking people into hotel rooms. I went home after that shift to a small room in mossside, on my own. I remember feeling pretty low as I scrolled through Instagram, seeing how seemingly perfect everyone else’s Christmas Day appeared. It only seemed to magnify the areas of my life that were lacking, making me feel inadequate, unfortunate, and sad. To those of you who don’t feel great today for any reason: I know exactly how you feel. It’s important to realise that life is lived in seasons, and this is just one season of many in your life. This season will serve to make you feel even more grateful and fortunate when you move into the next one, filled with many of the beautiful things you’re hoping for. Life can change so quickly. Even within a year, things can look unrecognisably different. I am so thankful for all of my seasons - they all gave me important gifts I could not see at the time. 🎁

If it feels impossible, but inexplicably plausible at the very same moment, that signals our positive and optimistic neurons to fire and wire together —making new channels, pathways, and trails for wonderful neurological growth. Basically, this helps me feel better about myself and my abilities and capacities to accept the storms and the seasons for what they are —experiences within an abundantly challenging and beautiful Life. Neutral stimuli may simply be observed. If you are making efforts to feel and think better and create successful, strengthening, progressive, and prosperous loops within your heart, mind, gut, and soul; know that I'm here doing the very same work. To achieve greater brain to heart, to gut, and back up to brain health, with excellent cognition, emotional self-regulation, and a balanced state of peace, respect, dignity, care, and compassion for yourself and your soul: Please keep going through behavioural change with me and Others. We can do this and celebrate the fresh wins together: Thank you Steven Bartlett

Thankful Thursday Vibes 🌟 I absolutely love the first day back in the office after traveling to our partner sites or leading one of our public training events. Why, you might ask? Well, it’s because I kick off my day by writing thank you notes to the AMAZING humans who made my travels smooth and successful—those behind the scenes handling logistics and the onsite team members who ensure everything runs seamlessly. It's a team effort, and reflecting on how grateful I am for all of them infuses my day with positivity and gratitude. The day doesn't stop there, though. I challenge myself to catch up on emails and voicemails before leaving the office. I find pockets of time between meetings to focus on those who have patiently awaited my response. The positivity from the morning fuels my energy cup, enabling me to close out the day completely caught up on communications, setting the tone for a successful rest of the week. I encourage you to consider how you spend your first day back after time away. Even if you were on a personal vacation, there's likely someone who kept things moving in your absence. Start your day back with a thank you card, reflecting on how much you appreciate the amazing team that holds everything together so you can recharge. On this Thankful Thursday, I challenge you to grab a thank you card and send it to someone who has positively impacted your life. Let's spread gratitude and positivity together! 💌✨

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. But can we talk about something for a second? Why do we only take one day a year to say “thank you”? To appreciate the people in our lives? To reflect on what we’re grateful for? Life moves fast. We spend most of it chasing the next goal, the next milestone, the next big thing. And it’s so easy to forget the little things: → That friend who checks in on you randomly. → That colleague who makes work feel less like work. → That stranger who held the door when you were in a rush. Here’s what I’ve learned: - Gratitude isn’t just about the big wins. - It’s about noticing the small moments that make life beautiful. So, this Thanksgiving, let’s try something different. Let’s not just say “thank you” today. Let’s carry it with us—every day, in every way. - Tell someone they matter. - Appreciate the small joys. - Celebrate the now. Because life doesn’t wait for a holiday to give us moments worth being thankful for. P.S.: What’s one thing you’re most thankful for this year?

✨ Feeling Grateful! ✨ A big thank you to everyone who took the time to wish me a happy birthday! 🙏 Your kind words truly made my day. I've just returned from a wonderful getaway with my partner to one of my favourite B&Bs. It was a perfect few days filled with long walks outdoors, endless games of Uno, and far too much delicious food. Sometimes, it's the simple things that bring the most joy. As I reflect on life so far, here are a few things I've learned: 1. Time with loved ones is priceless. There's no substitute for making memories with the people who matter most. 2. Balance is everything. It's important to work hard, but equally important to step away and recharge. 3. Life is a journey, not a race. Everyone's timeline looks different—it's OK to move at your own pace. 4. Take joy in the small things. A good walk, a game of cards, or a shared meal can be more fulfilling than grand plans. 5. Gratitude is key. Every day is a gift, and there’s always something to be thankful for. Thanks again to all of you for your kind wishes and support. Here's to more adventures and lessons ahead! 🌟 #Grateful #BirthdayReflections #LessonsLearned #TimeWellSpent

🌟 Gratitude and Growth as the Year Winds Down 🌟 What a year it’s been. Like many of you, I’ve faced my share of ups and downs—some challenges I didn’t see coming and some amazing milestones that made it all worthwhile. It’s been a roller-coaster, but one thing I’ve learned is that every twist and turn helps shape who we are. As I look back on my journey this year, I can’t help but feel grateful for the incredible people I’ve met and the lessons I’ve learned. Whether it’s leading teams, working through challenges, or celebrating big wins, it all comes down to the people and the moments we share. With the holiday season around the corner, I wanted to share a few things that have kept me grounded and moving forward: Take a Breather: Life moves fast, especially this time of year. Make space to reflect on how far you’ve come. Focus on the People Who Matter: Whether it’s family, friends, or coworkers, nurture those relationships that make your life richer. Find Gratitude: Even when life gets messy, there’s always something to be thankful for—it’s a great way to reset your mindset. Lead with Heart: Whether it’s at work or in life, a little kindness goes a long way. You never know who might need it. Celebrate the Wins (Big and Small): Don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for the things you’ve achieved, no matter how small they seem. Here’s to finishing the year strong, soaking in the good moments, and leaning into the lessons. Thanks for being part of this journey—whether you’re in my network, my team, or just someone stopping by. Let’s keep showing up and growing together. Cheers to what’s next!
