As 2024 comes to a close we’d like to say a big thank you to all our staff and the countless organisations we’ve worked with to support our customers! We’re fortunate to have more 33,000 staff who are driven to help people in every community across the country. From the most remote parts of the top end to urban cities, one thing is clear – customers are at the heart of everything we do. This year we increased recruitment across the country. We’re committed to continue our work transforming how we deliver our payments and services so they’re accessible and reach the most vulnerable. And for those who can use digital services, we’ve introduced more options for them to do their business. Just heard the news—by 2025, employees will be able to withdraw from their EPF accounts at ATMs! 💳 This got me thinking: what other processes could we change to make work actually better for everyone? Here are some ideas I’d love to see in our workplaces: 1. Real-time apps that show how much we’ve saved and what we can do with it (invest, save, or spend wisely). 2. Automated tax-savings insights—because let’s face it, figuring out taxes is still confusing. 3. Personalized financial tools that help us plan vacations, big purchases, or emergencies better. 4. Better Work Tools-Why not have one app for everything—leave, payroll, benefits, even booking a meeting room in the office or using concierge services? 5. Incentives for employees who carpool, use public transport, or use EVs—because we all want a cleaner planet, right? 6. More cross-team projects where we can learn and grow (without the boring meetings). 7. Casual innovation hubs where we can pitch ideas—because fresh perspectives matter. 8. AI tools to take care of the boring, repetitive tasks so customer-facing teams can focus on actual conversations. We spend a huge chunk of our lives at work.
