The API Innovation Center has awarded a contract to Missouri-based Sentio BioSciences LLC to advance the development and domestic production of two critical pharmaceutical molecules that have historically faced shortages. This collaboration marks a major milestone in reshoring API production, enhancing national health security and ensuring a reliable supply of essential medications. Sentio brings over 15 years of expertise in pharmaceutical innovation to commercial manufacturing, having developed and scaled complex APIs and FDA-approved drug products. This collaboration with APIIC will accelerate the reshoring of these critical molecules while ensuring compliance with the highest regulatory standards.
