Imagine! You can plan the maintenance activities of the water pipelines, without access to any operational numerical data. Impossible? We believe that you can use understandable descriptive values for experienced operators instead of operational numerical data. This method is most useable for water distribution networks with limited access to reliable data. You can find this new qualitative method for planning the maintenance-renewal works of water pipelines using the Excel-based QR-WDSR model, which is introduced in our recently published article with the link below: https://rdcu.be/dCbW6

#darkdata isn’t so dark when you have the right light to shine! 🔦🚦 #TCW #innovation #proptech #data #utilisingyourdata #turninginformationintoinsight #knowledgeispower #proactive #assetmanagement #datamanagement
#PropTech #Founder CEO with a no nonsense approach to #Compliance, #RiskManagement and #Data. IET Fellow gaining more and more experience in #StartUp and the crazy corporate world .
'Dark' Data One of the key benefits of TCW today is our ability to harness and use the data you have and collect but that no one else has the capabilities to get access too. It's really interesting seeing all this data in one place and understanding that the industry is trying to achieve what #TCWin already has. What's also really interesting is when Developers across the board look at the data and arrive at the same conclusion, we can do that with AI...!! You're right, you can, you should definitely put a team together and project board and chuck money at it, it will be well worth it! So, back to Dark Data, lets give you an example: In the last year TCW has ingested just over 1.4 million Landlord Gas Safety Records (LGSR) from all over the UK. Within this data we can see Boiler, Make, Model, GC numbers (where added) and technical information about the performance of each one. With this information we can classify boilers that operate within benchmarked parameters set by industry (10/5% variable on heat input /op pressure), we can classify and spot trends in boiler performance based on geographical positions and common trends on engineer data added, or not added. Once you see what we can see, reality seems to slip as brands like Gas Safe Register, Health and Safety Executive, Regulator of Social Housing, NAPIT , NICEIC, Electrical Safety First, Building Safety Register are asking the questions of the country that TCW has the answers too. Note the phrase Dark Data, it's important to try and shine a light towards it to achieve great improvements.
