The 3rd of 4 Concept Tanks at this site, approaching completion. Each of these Concept Tanks has a capacity of 56,000m3 (350k Barrels) and are being used to safely store produced water. When complete, we will be containing approximately 1.4m barrels (over 220,000m3) of produced water in Concept Tanks on this location. #oilandgas #producedwater

"Electricity saving during operation of Floatation No. 1" See below an example of another effective idea of the "Bank of Ideas" project, the implementation of which allowed to reduce electricity consumption: the employees of the Crushing and Beneficiation Plant implemented a project to change the process for processing tailings of Floatation No. 1. Previously, the production of additional concentrate at Floatation No. 3, with the shutdown of Beneficiation Plant No. 1, required an additional start-up of the TSF pumping equipment (main pumping station, slurry pumping station + CBP equipment), and this is an additional 5.4 MW/h of electricity consumption. So a new process for processing tailings of Floatation No. 1 was developed. For this purpose a pipeline was laid to the reserve suction end of the deslimer from the reserve pump, directing the floatation froth back to the feed of Floatation No. 1. Thus, this allowed to stop Floatation No. 3 and process the floatation froth at Floatation No. 1 (5.4 MW/h during operation of PP-2, 1.4 MW/h during operation of PP-1). All changes were made by the CBP staff. Due to the implemented measures, we have received electricity savings of more than 150 thousand US dollars since the beginning of the year. #Improvements projects#

The tallest Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) dam. Gibe-III dam, which is purely meant for hydro electric power generation. This is among the national efforts in which Ethiopia strives to climate resilience.
🇪🇹 💧 Tallest RCC dam in the world! The project is the natural extension of the biggest complex along the Gilgel Gibe River with the two other hydroelectric dams, Gibe I (completed and operational since 2004) and Gibe II (operational since 2010). The works involved a RCC dam 250 m high, with a crest length of 630 m and a total volume of 6,214,000 m³ of concrete. Located 450 km south west of the capital of #Ethiopia, the #hydroelectric plant boosts the national energy production by 85%, meeting the growing demand for energy within the country and enabling the development of integrated export networks to neighboring countries. #Webuild #CleanHydroEnergy 👉 https://bit.ly/3XnltHn

The Reinforcement of Rabigh Combined Cycle Power Plant project continues to advance at a remarkable pace under the Consortium of ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEMS PROJECTS and Siemens Energy. Being executed for Saudi Electricity Company, the consortium has reached 45.27% progress in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction overall activities. Behind every percentage of progress lies a collective effort to bring the project to life. From successfully placing the three gas turbine generators to launching mechanical activities on critical components like turbines and heat recovery steam generators. Beyond the power block, achievements in civil works, tank systems, and fuel gas stations represent the drive to deliver a project that meets and exceeds expectations. This isn’t just about numbers—it’s about for fostering sustainable development in the heart of the Middle East. Take a closer look at our progress! Watch the video below to see the remarkable advancements happening on-site and witness how teamwork and the project come to life. https://lnkd.in/gEQs2GQN
