As an entrepreneur, we don't often ask for help, but Local Relief...baby, it's a big one. This app has the potential to lead disaster victims to the critical information and resources they need when their community is in chaos. When all hope is lost, they can login to Local Relief and find useful information posted by other community members, local government, and nonprofit organizations in the same area. It's truly THE disaster hub. I could use some help on this. 1. Funding (and introductions to funding). Again, we're a 501c3 nonprofit. 2. Introductions to business owners that want to help disaster communities (when they donate, their business is showcased in the app). Today is Are You Safe at Home? Day.   If I've learnt anything over the near two years of working in the family violence sector, amidst the nuances of working to create a world where everyone is safe, it's that family violence is preventable.   And we can all do something (however small) to help. You can do something to help.   You can make a (sometimes truly big) difference by learning how to recognise the signs of family violence and how to safely ask people you know if they are safe in their relationships or at home.   Statistics of family violence in Australia are horrific (and we don’t even know the true numbers). We are thrilled to partner with Kait’s Angels of Mattituck to provide LifeVac devices to local organizations, police departments and schools. The nonprofit hosted a demonstration and distributed the devices at Branch Brewery on Friday. “We’re going to put them in every car, put them on our marine vessels and in our headquarters.
