Let's talk mastless... 🌟 What's the advantages? 1. Masted systems are fixed to the blade and are susceptible to damage. Mastless system antennas are fixed safely to the cab roof. 😱 2. Masted systems are measured down from the receiver and across to the cutting blade at 90 degrees, meaning there is little compensation for forward and backward tilt. Mastless systems are installed with multi directional tilt sensors on the body, frame and blade of the dozer. Each moving part is then measured and the sensors calibrated. This means that whichever angle the blade is at, an accurate position is achieved, providing excellent results on complex cuts and work on batters. 😲 3. As with most up to date technology, mastless systems provide quicker and smoother responses which work more efficiently with hydraulic systems. Griffiths have invested in multiple mastless systems across their fleet of dozers. Ensuring the correct cut, everytime.
