Interestingly, 70% of Americans plan on going on vacation this year, but less than 50% have started saving for retirement -- a much longer, more impactful "vacation". 🌸 Golden Years Living: Retirement Living Options 🌸 As we reach our golden years, it's essential to make an informed decision about where to spend this rewarding chapter of life. 🏡✨ Here's what you need to know: 🔹 Old-Age Homes: These typically offer basic accommodation and shared facilities like dining rooms, lounges, and sometimes even shared bedrooms. Daily assistance and medical care are usually provided, but the standard varies. There’s often an age limit for entry, and these homes are designed for those needing more hands-on care. 🔹 Retirement Villages: Perfect for those looking to retain independence while enjoying a secure, safe environment. Retirement villages often include stand-alone homes with private gardens, garages, and access to shared amenities like parks and community halls. Medical facilities and frail care are often available, but with more flexibility in the level of care provided. Ownership Models: ✅ Life Rights: Live in the property, but ownership stays with the developer. ✅ Sectional/Full Title: You own the property, and it’s easier to resell or pass on. Choosing the right retirement living solution is a deeply personal decision. Make sure to ask the right questions and assess your future needs. 🌟 #RetirementLiving #GoldenYears #SeniorCare #KarisProperties #LifeRights #SectionalTitle

Thanksgiving is a valuable opportunity to think back on what I and our GPM team has been able to accomplish this year and reflect on gratitude. accionvegana to a New Office: We moved from our Farmington Hills location to our beautiful new space in Bloomfield Hills, a huge upgrade for both us and our clients. Estate Distribution: We lost a well-loved client this year, and we are thankful we were able to seamlessly distribute her estate to her children in a tax-efficient and headache-free way to her heirs. Retirement Transition: I helped onboard a wonderful couple as clients earlier this year. He is retiring from one of the Big Three next year, and we created a solid financial plan for them to confidently make the transition to retirement. Family Business: We helped support two business owners in initiating critical conversations with their children about succession planning and their own personal retirement. Life Transitions: We have been walking alongside an older couple during a challenging year, helping them as they sold their home and transitioned to assisted living. Making Connections: We have met some great professionals this year, and we are excited about future client collaborations. These are just some of the interactions I am thankful I was a part of. What are some of your proudest moments from this year? #BeThankful #GiveThanks #Thanksgiving
