Our popular Maggie and GA-92XTd magnetic locators have an angled, ergonomic grip. They are both powered by one 9V battery, which is very easy to replace if necessary. Follow these steps: 1. The battery is in the handle of the instrument and can be accessed by turning the screw counterclockwise. 2. To remove the battery, tilt the unit so that the handle is pointing down, and the battery will slide out. 3. As a safety measure, the unit will not turn on if the battery is not inserted correctly.
