WHAT.A.WEEK at the Airvet Go To Market Offsite! I am so grateful to work with such innovative and creative folks who are mission-focused and always open to new ideas, creative solutions, and pushing the boundaries so we can help pets live their happiest, healthiest, and longest lives. Taryn Branca, Polydoros Sassos MBA, Katie Kerr, thank you for your leadership this week and giving the team the resources and support we need to drive success for our team & clients (both future and current). Hannah van der Vord, Sam Osborne, Lauren Eager exploring all of the work you're doing in your channels was fascinating and how they all interconnect and ladder-up to our goals was so fun. It was great to see all the hard work you've accomplished in 2024 and all you have left to do was absolutely invigorating. Joelle Rodenroth & Cecily Spikes...what is there to say!? You're both absolute powerhouses and I can't wait to keep celebrating your wins every week (because at this point, it is every week!). Thank you for always using marketing's email sequences, blogs, and social posts to bolster your amazing outreach. It means so much! Diving deeper into the foundational ops work Kristen Archer & Kayla Chabola do was fascinating (and I've never been so happy to see so many reports -- your work in Hubspot was used in almost every presentation!). The thoughtful work Jessica Snyder (she/her) and Kyle Lautan are doing to ensure our employer clients have an above-and-beyond experience was wonderful (and helps explain our insane 93 NPS!).
This week, our Go To Market Team came together for a week filled with collaboration and strategic planning. Discussing strategy, sharing wins, and brainstorming new initiatives was incredibly valuable. But even more importantly, the connections we made and the laughs we shared will drive our collective success forward. We’re proud to be part of a team that embodies dedication, innovation, and creativity. Here’s to leveraging our shared insights for a successful second half of the year. Exciting things are on the horizon! 🐾 https://www.airvet.com/

Steve Jobs' 2005 Stanford Commencement Address is a treasure trove of life lessons, structured around three personal stories: 1) Connecting the Dots: Jobs shared how seemingly unrelated events in life can later connect in meaningful ways. Dropping in on a calligraphy class, for instance, shaped the typography of the Macintosh. He encouraged trusting the process, even when the path ahead is unclear. 2) Love and Loss: He spoke about his love for his work and the pain of being fired from Apple, the company he co-founded. This setback led to the creation of NeXT and Pixar, ultimately bringing him back to Apple. His journey highlighted how challenges can lead to unforeseen opportunities. 3) Death: Reflecting on his cancer diagnosis, Jobs emphasized the importance of living authentically and making bold decisions. He reminded everyone that life is finite, urging them not to waste it living someone else’s dream. He concluded with the iconic advice: "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish." A call to remain curious, passionate, and open to new experiences. Wishing you all a very happy new year 2025 😎

Steve Jobs' iconic commencement speech has been a constant source of inspiration for me. I have almost memorized every line; not just because of his words, but because of the deeper truths they reveal. His stories about love, loss, and perseverance remind me that even the toughest challenges hold the seeds of our future successes. This year taught me the importance of stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing the unknown. Starting a new journey with Excellence Squad has been both challenging and rewarding, teaching me resilience, adaptability, and the power of persistence. Looking ahead, I am excited to continue building this vision, collaborate with inspiring people, and create solutions that make a meaningful impact in the life sciences sector. The journey has just begun, and I am eager to see where it leads. As the year comes to an end, I reflect on the lessons and milestones that have shaped me. Let’s step into the new year with courage and purpose, trusting that everything will fall into place. What lessons are you taking with you into the new year?"

Day 1 of 365... I’ve been quiet these past few weeks, and for good reason. The past year has been a rollercoaster ride with two redundancies due to economic reasons, moving cities, and personal challenges. So, I took time for myself to reflect on what I truly want moving forward. Do I want to continue working for a company that doesn't embody the values I stand for? NO. Do I want to keep giving 1000% when my efforts aren't taken seriously? NO. Do I want to bring value, passion, and positive results? YES. Do I want to continue loving my job? YES. Do I crave something different? Absolutely, YES. I've made a decision. It's time to take the leap and do something different. I've booked a one-way ticket to Australia, I landed yesterday! In the coming year, my mission is clear: to explore, learn and discover. I have twelve months to figure out my next steps. In the middle of this uncertainty, one thing is certain: I refuse to let work impact me the way it has over the past year. Stay tuned for updates. This journey has only just begun!

I've been decidedly vacant from contribution to social media of recent but for some reason - maybe all of the other 'end of year wrap' posts - I feel the need to put my two cents in. To be absolutely honest, my two cents don't matter much among the sea of algorithmic soup served up for your viewing / digestion / action. Irrespective, I can say that above ALL of what we've all accomplished as lone individuals, be happy that it was alongside the amazing community we collaborated with along the way. Most of the prominent figures we readily know are often represented as themselves - an individual. I'm learning as I age that most great things happen as a TEAM. Sure, the TIME's 100 most influential people are amazing in of themselves, but they are the exception - not the rule! No doubt they also have an amazing support team behind them too and I'm so grateful for epic individuals like these who continue to inspire. Let's be honest though - we paint ourselves as an accomplished portrait; rather lets paint a bigger picture - full of vibrance and friction. Swimming into the holiday season, I hope that you and yours take stock into the amazing things you've been able to accomplish in COLLABORATION with those around you, rather than what you've accomplished on your own. After all, we are a community are we not? I'm taught daily in my work in community engagement and marketing that innovation / progress / representation / efficiency happens best with friction. Friction is hard, but geez is it rewarding! It's like a shower at the end of a hot day spent in the garden... Hence, why I've been quiet on contribution to the social-sphere. I'm tired! My days are spent collaborating with my other amazing remote-colleagues with Element, then with my amazing students at Charles Sturt University, and always with my rock and epic wifey Tammy at home with our kids + our family and friends. What a blessed life I get to experience but in the trenches it's hard sometimes to really look around and realise my trench ain't so bad. I'm sure yours isn't to bad either. If you've made it this far then I implore you to do two things: 1 - Before the end of the year have a gander at the trench you're in. Really take it all in. Sure there are things you'd like to change, but dig deep and find all the gold amongst the suggested rubble. 2 - Check out the post below and cast your eyes on this group of pretty cool folk and what we've been up to. Our trenches have been pretty fun to be in to be honest! BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE... Tell me - what did YOU collaborate on this year and more importantly WITH WHO?? Happy holidays you epic individuals. From human to human, I dig ya. #seeya2024 #heythere2025 #collaboration
We're nearly there in wrapping up 2024 and it’s time to reflect on the milestones that made this year truly remarkable for Element. Another year of progress and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our incredible team and clients. Our determination is only possible with the dedication and passion of our team, and the trust and collaboration of our valued clients and partners!

This past year has been the hardest and most rewarding of my career. Here’s why… Growing two companies, building teams, and working through constant challenges pushed me to my limits. There were days I questioned if I was pushing too hard. Several times where I wondered if all the stress was worth it. And moments where it felt like no matter how much progress we made, there was still so much more to do. But every challenge feels worth it when you see the impact you can have. I got a message recently. It was a simple reminder that the real reward is so much more than how much money you make—it’s who you help along the way. Helping clients hit goals they didn’t think were possible. Watching my team grow—gaining confidence, taking ownership, and finding purpose in their work. And seeing the ripple effect of that impact go far beyond work. Winning isn’t about how much you get. It’s about how much you give. To your team. To your clients. To the people who trust you to lead. That’s the ultimate success.

I've spent most of my adult life leading in the direct sales industry, working with five different companies and going through an incredible journey of growth, resilience, and transformation. From navigating countless ups and downs to representing products that ranged from mediocre to scientifically proven game-changers, I’ve seen it all. At the height of my career, my teams and I were serving tens of thousands of customers across multiple continents, sharing products that truly made a difference. For that experience, I’m forever grateful. Yet about two years ago, I felt the pull for something more—a new challenge, a new vision. I became the Growth Officer for a Finnish company that's breaking new ground in health and vitality, using one of nature’s most potent resources: Arctic wild berries from Lapland. Science-backed and super charged by the Arctic sun, these berries are the cornerstone of a revolutionary concept for boosting cellular vitality. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: vitality is EVERYTHING when it comes to health and living life to the fullest. What truly captured my attention, though, was a piece of patented technology developed alongside one of Finland’s most prestigious universities. This isn’t just another product; it’s the missing link in our unique cellular vitality concept and it has the potential to transform millions of lives. In less than two weeks, at our sold-out annual conference, we’ll finally be unveiling this groundbreaking technology to the world. Next year, when this innovation hits the market, I’m confident it will have the most explosive growth potential I’ve ever witnessed. Through our innovations and incredible leaders, our company is about to take center stage, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s coming next.

What a huge week and it’s only Wednesday. The Middle East event season is starting to gain momentum as we head into the cooler and busier months which is evident by the 7am starts and 10pm finishes (not advisable for a prolonged period of time… the burnout today is real) For the first time in a long time, I finally feel I’m where I want to and should be on this journey called business (and life). Right back to my start up roots. My real happy place and where I am most successful. It’s taken a while to reconcile this as the perception of growth is mostly increased revenue, increase profitability and increase size of team. I’ve learnt that real growth is actually sometimes going backwards, fixing what needs fixing, developing resilience when it’s really attractive to give up, going back to basics, relearning your “why”, being excited again, believing in yourself and your abilities and most of all securing peace by removing unecessay distractions. With a greater focus on the year ahead and more determined than ever its time for some hard work, success and learnings as well as navigating the journey what ever it may be.

🌟 **Happy Monday, LinkedIn Family!** 🌟 As some of you may have noticed, I've been quieter than usual here, but rest assured, the silence heralds the brewing of something exciting! I am currently tucked away in a mesmerizing corner of Europe, working with our Group CEO on our next adventure for our buying group. The details are still under wraps, but I promise, the reveal will be worth the wait. It’s my first time in this location, and I am absolutely eager to return. It’s simply amazing! Back at MSC, we're tearing down barriers left, right, and center. Our business is booming with new opportunities, showcasing that what we offer is not only needed but valued by our clients. We’re not just expanding; we’re evolving and making significant inroads in the FM sector. This week, we welcome a game-changing new member to our team. I'll keep the suspense a bit longer to let them settle in, but believe me, this addition marks us as one of the most diverse and skilled sales teams around. Reflecting on the past seven months since the passing of our beloved founder, my father, Lionel Osborne, I am both moved and inspired by how our team has stepped up during this period of transition. Facing challenges head-on, we've transformed hurdles into stepping stones, proving just how resilient and united we can be under pressure. Some people in your hour of need will dismiss you, in fact even ignore the chaos around you…but you have to remember, what you are doing and why you are doing it.. some times the route to your goal isn’t always direct, you may make a few wrong turns, but any movement is progress Let's carry this spirit forward into the week. Here’s to breaking more barriers, making more progress, and achieving our goals, no matter how indirect the route may seem. Wishing everyone a fantastic week ahead – go out there and smash it out of the park! 💪 #MondayMotivation #TeamMSC #Innovation #Growth #Resilience

Have you ever paused to think about how much energy we expend trying to control every aspect of our lives? Yet, as Eckhart Tolle so aptly put it: “When you become comfortable with uncertainty, infinite possibilities open up in your life.” It’s true, isn’t it? Uncertainty can feel unnerving, but it’s also a space where opportunities, creativity, and growth thrive. When we cling to control, we limit our potential. However, when we embrace the unknown, we allow ourselves to explore avenues we may never have considered. Think about the innovators and leaders we admire—what they have in common is their willingness to take calculated risks and step into uncertainty. They see it not as a barrier but as an opening to infinite possibilities. So, here’s a thought for today: What opportunities are you currently overlooking because they lie beyond your comfort zone? Could reframing uncertainty as a positive force open doors for you, both personally and professionally? The future is not set in stone, and that’s the most exciting part of all. Let’s embrace the journey.
