Monitoring post construction movements of #properties built on #clay geology is crucial as these areas are prone to both #heave and #subsidence from changes to #groundwater and loading effects.    In parts of the UK, new build housing developments have faced problems related to post construction #groundmovement, such as foundation cracks, structural damage, and water damage, leading to costly repairs and in some cases unsaleable properties. Developers, owners and insurers can use SatSense InSAR ground movement data to:    • Retrospectively investigate ground and structural movements back to 2015.    • Remotely monitor properties for #groundmovement with mm/year level precision.    • Receive alerts for movements exceeding set thresholds across properties and  portfolios.    The attached image from SatShop shows heave exceeding 65 mm since 2015 across properties built on clay soil in the South East of England.
