Looking for a way to help but don't have time to stop in and volunteer? You can always help by finding supplies and equipment for our loads! For example, over the next few months some of our top needed items are: OR tables, Ultrasound machines, non-sterile gloves, sterile surgical gloves, baby diapers and wipes, and laceration trays/dressing kits. While some of these are very specialized, items like non-sterile gloves, diapers, and wipes you might easily be able to collect from neighbors who no longer need them! And they can have far reaching impacts - we've heard many times that having these supplies has resulted in more community trust in a facility and more moms giving birth at a hospital. If a complication arises during birth, and the nearest hospital is a five hour walk away, this can make a huge difference in both mom and baby's outcome. Project C.U.R.E.
