A client sent me a voice message because she couldn’t decide the right way to phrase something on a cover letter for a speaking engagement.. OMG … those moments in business can feel so freaking lonely. “Do I say this, or should I word it that way? Ugh. I don’t know!” She was so happy she could just pick up her phone and get me right away. She actually said, “I really do have a coach in my pocket! OMG, thank you so much. I so appreciate being able to work with you like this.” I mean, we all have those lonely moments, right? Those moments when you’re trying to price an offer, or update your about page (for the 342nd time) or how often to reach out to an awesome potential customer before you feel you’re annoying them. These are real life, everyday situations when you’re running your own business. And while your friends love you, and your uncle Joe and other family members might be well-meaning, they don’t “get it”. This is a unique job you’re doing, and you deserve to have a coach by your side who gets it. One who’s priced the offers, written (and rewritten!) the copy, had the failures and the huge wins. One who knows what it is to feel the pressures of family, time, and effort. The journey is one absolutely worth walking, and walking it with the right crew can make ALL the difference. Right now I’m accepting new applications in The Abundance Academy where I’ll be on the other end of your phone, where I’ll review your copy and be there when you’re scared and excited. And you’ll get to walk this path with colleagues and friends who get it - through and through. Click the link below and fill out the application. It might be one of the best things you ever do for yourself. Apply here → https://buff.ly/4atvXs8 #IntuitiveBusinessCoach #WomenEmpowerment #businessgrowth #womenentrepreneurship

This year I'm starting a different side project, an email newsletter. So, why a newsletter? I want to share with everyone the success of side hustles and allow fellow businesspeople to voice their experience and knowledge to the wider world. Giving people a chance to talk about their projects and what they’re proud of is something that should be encouraged, and this is what The Five to Nine Formula is all about. Each week, I will be interviewing a successful entrepreneur and learning a little more about their business. It will bring insightful information about their niche, their learnings, and their achievements. The goal is to inspire others and to give people a platform to shout their success from the metaphorical roof tops. Newsletters are built to be easily digestible, non-invasive, quick reads. I don’t want to take up your day, your morning, or even your hour. I want to give you a 5-minute read, once a week, to help you learn about the great possibilities of a side hustle. I’ll make it interesting and entertaining; I promise. If this is something that interests you, please consider subscribing: #sidehustles #sidehustlesuccess #newsletter #sidehustleideas

I often hear how exciting it is to leave a high-paying corporate job to start your own business. But the #1 mistake I see over and over from new business coaches and consultants making the jump: ➡️ They try to sell too many things at once. Workshops, consulting, assessments, audits—it sounds like you're offering "everything," but to your potential clients? It’s confusing. Here’s the harsh truth: When your offer isn’t clear, your clients don’t know what problem you’re solving or why they should work with you. And in a world where attention spans are short, they’ll just move on. Your new website isn't a resume. Or a menu. Besides, if you have 10 offers, that doesn't mean you can magically sell 10x more... and thinking you're 'leaving money on the table' is a scarcity mindset. Focus on JUST ONE offer, solve ONE problem, and make it crystal clear who it's for. You can always expand once you're at $1M in revenue/year, but to start, nail your core offer and get your first 10 clients fast. That’s what will set you up for sustainable success.

Yesterday, I ran the first Pitch, Please workshop and it was a joy. 😍 One of the attendees said she signed up because she loves to work through things and write together, in community. This is my motivation as well! I love hearing about the brilliance of others and helping them to do everything they can to allow that brilliance to shine. Next up in the series is Pitch, Please: Standing Out in a Crowd - professionally of course. Putting yourself and your personal brand out there - whether you’re applying for your dream job or working on growing your online presence – can be a nerve-wracking process. We'll cover things like common mistakes people make on resumes and in interviews, how to build a LinkedIn profile and write a personal statement that stands out and framing your vast life experience to create a clear and kickas* narrative. This workshop is designed for anyone on the job hunt or new entrepreneurs setting out to craft their own professional brand! I’m happy to have recent grads and more seasoned professionals – but a special shoutout for this making major career pivots. I love this for obvious reasons! Sign up for Pitch, Please: Standing Out in a Crowd, running on November 17th! https://lnkd.in/em_FWxU6

I don't know who needs to hear this but.. YOU ARE SO MUCH MORE THAN YOUR TITLE AND CV. Your 'title' could be: '' Mum, Best-Selling Author, Speaker, Coach, Child of God, Recruiter, Artist, Queen of Sales, Diplomat..'' I see so many fancy titles on LinkedIn. It's funny, and I definitely been there where I didn't know how I should "call myself" But instead of getting caught up in those titles.. Do THIS ⬇️ Choose for LinkedIn 1 Clear CTA & 1 Goal: * Link to your Ebook * Link to your Masterclass * DM ''WORD x'' To Get Started with X Don't confuse people with too many CTA's. Choose 1-2 Title that positions you in what you do: * eg. Business Coach For Female X * eg. Speaking Coach For Introverts * Focused & simple = more conversion Understand, your are not married to your.. * Offers and Services * Current Identity and Personal Brand * Titles and Resume This is a reminder that.. * your stronger than you think * your work is beyond a title * BUT clear positioning matters * choose 1 goal on LinkedIn * choose 1-2 Title aligned to what you offer (market position) PS. When you shake off all labels, shoulds, and titles that were put on you and create your own rules to run your business/life, you will be more fulfilled. You can pivot and evolve daily your brand. Let me know in the comments, if you could relate to this and share your experience ⬇️ #personalbranding #businessowners #entrepreneurs

6 months ago, this writing on the wall (pun intended) would seem like just words. However, when I read it today, I realised that I relate to it with specificity now. The questions I pose/continue to pose to myself: Looking back: In what context? Also, where are you currently? How far back have you gone and are ready to go? Progress: How do you understand it for yourself? What are you internal markers for it? How much of your definition of and messures for it is influenced by the external world? What is your margin of error? Not giving up: Why did you persist? How do you distinguish between the micro and the macro. For instance, does quitting a job mean you have given up? Can you give up now or do you have more to do? Do you/Should you have all the answers today? How do you relate to it? #journalofanentrepreneur 📷: unknown image source.

Your success depends on your ability to have hard conversations. And traditional advice often makes the problem worse. We’re simply not trained to have real deep conversations. Most people avoid them with: → Passive aggressiveness. → Beating around the bush. → Ignoring one another. In the end, it’s your business that suffers. So much potential, yet so much resentment brewing. You might be thinking: “That sounds great, but how do I start?!” You don’t need to spend years “healing yourself”. Your business requires immediate action. That’s why I’m here to help as an advisor and ghostwriter as you navigate it. Getting started is simple: Book a consultation call with me. Learn how we can work together and choose a plan. It can be a one off strategy session or ongoing advice and assistance. All with the same goal: To help you manage conflict through communication, not confrontation.
