Investing in leadership is the most important investment a company can make. Secure the right person and the business will grow organically, the wrong person will only result in additional hiring costs if not cultural/operational setback. #Leadership #MarketPrice

$77,000-$80,000 is enough, post the job. For a Director of Housekeeping… Enough to hire the best, or just enough to get by? You want the best running your operation and leading your team. Someone who cares about the details leads with integrity and elevates your team. But here’s the reality: Top-tier talent isn’t cheap. The person who will make your place sparkle from the lobby to the rooftop has big options. Under $80,000, It’s hardly going to cut it in today’s market. Because hiring the best means paying what they’re worth, not just covering a job description. Clean equals reviews, not cutting a salary after someone leaves. Here’s what this means for a hiring manager... • STOP hoping a 5-star leader will work for 3-star pay. • STOP expecting the best when you’re only offering “average.” • START recognizing that talent, leadership, and dedication cost more. Want someone who truly stands out? Then, be prepared to pay them what they’re worth. The cost of losing great leadership is far more than you’d think. Drop a 👏 if you feel that the pay discrepancy is real.

✨ Are You Wondering How to Keep Your Workplace Clean and Safe? ✨ Finding skilled and committed housekeeping and security staff is one of the biggest challenges for organizations. Here’s why it’s tough and how to address it: 🔄 High Turnover Rates Housekeeping and security roles are demanding, with long hours and limited growth, leading to high turnover and difficulty retaining dedicated individuals. 📚 Lack of Proper Training Limited access to formal training results in a shortage of well-trained staff, causing gaps in essential skills like safety, customer service, and emergency response. 💸 Perception and Pay Gaps These roles are often undervalued, with lower wages and fewer benefits, impacting job satisfaction and the ability to attract skilled, committed candidates. 🌍 Urban-Rural Disparity Job seekers from rural areas may be unfamiliar with urban requirements, creating a skills gap in cities. ⏰ Inconsistent Work Conditions The physical demands and irregular hours of these jobs can lead to burnout, causing workers to leave frequently. ⚠️ Safety and Health Risks Without proper health and safety measures, candidates may be deterred from long-term commitments. 📈 Lack of Growth Opportunities The absence of clear career progression makes it challenging to attract candidates looking for stable, long-term employment. 💬 Language and Communication Barriers Effective communication is essential, yet language barriers can prevent candidates from meeting requirements, especially in multilingual regions. 🌟 Solution: Overcoming these challenges requires investment in: ✅ Structured training programs ✅ Fair compensation ✅ Clear career pathways ✅ A strong focus on worker safety and satisfaction This can lead to a more skilled, committed workforce, ensuring a cleaner, safer workplace. 💭 We’d love to hear your thoughts! Please leave a comment below if you’ve faced similar challenges or have ideas on building a skilled housekeeping and security team. 👇
