The Integrated Cuttings Waste Management System from ELGIN SEPARATION SOLUTIONS treats oil-based raw cuttings slurry, generated by the oil and gas drilling industry, by utilizing chemically-assisted mechanical separation. Via the deployment of microemulsions, Elgin’s system uses liquid/solid separation technologies to remove coarse, then fine, suspended solids, respectively. 💡 Innovative Oil Sludge Pyrolysis Technology from Beston Group® #OilSludge is a ⚠hazardous waste from petroleum and other industrial production activities. In recent years, #Pyrolysis, as a sustainable recycling technology, has become the best solution for oil sludge treatment. The pyrolysis process of oil sludge can be broken down into the following steps: 👇 1️⃣ Feeding: Introduce the oil sludge into the system using a hydraulic or screw feeder. After feeding, close and lock the furnace door. 2️⃣ Pyrolysis: Start the main reactor and preheat it. After 2-3h, pyrolysis begins. The hydrocarbon compounds in the oil sludge undergo #ThermalDesorption. Once the reactor reaches about 110°C, oil gas and water form. 3️⃣ Condensation: The oil gas is cooled and condensed into liquid oil in a condenser. Heavy residues are returned to the reactor for further processing. 4️⃣ Syngas Recovery: Uncondensed syngas is purified and then used as fuel in the furnace. Excess gas is directed to the exhaust chamber for combustion and emission treatment. 5️⃣ Flue Gas Treatment: High-temperature flue gas is cooled in a flue condenser, then dust is removed in a spray tower before being discharged through a chimney. 6️⃣ Solid Residue Discharge: After the pyrolysis process, cool the system for 7-8 hours and then remove the solid residue using an auto screw discharger and water-cooling discharger.
