Premier League Bournemouth vs Spurs - Bournemouth's Set piece set up, usage of 'cover' in numerical equality at central to allow player in-behind to exploit free space in Isolated farthest post through blindspot movement. - Aggressiveness out of possession and ball recovery through ball zone overload + dynamic offensive transition after recovery 2nd ball in threatening space against opposition's rest defense. Bournemouth was a machine of Aggressiveness and constantly going for duels to get the chance to start dangerous situations. Outside of it, Spurs high-back line was exposed multiple times as Bournemouth dynamic approach off-ball allowed to not give time and space to react to either son, Kulusevski or Maddison. Most of the times those duels would be collective with closing nearest options and provoking suffocation around possessor. #bournemouthfc #soccercoach #footballanalysis #footballtactics #futbolentrenador #futboltactico #tottenham #footballscout #matchanalysis #sportsanalysis #

England analysis vs Denmark In my opinion, we need to be more aggressive off the ball. Here is why: 6/10 outfield players that start for England play a pressing system within their Premier League club. Key principles: ✅ Triggers ✅ Trapping the opposition on one side of the pitch ✅ Denying switches ✅ Pressing to regain possession ✅ Remaining compact within 3/5 lanes in relation to the ball #Football #Euros #England #Analysis #Footballcoach

Huge game for #Leeds United (and #Norwich City) as they hunt a #playoff #final spot. We know well enough that the #EPL will offer more than £120m of riches to the winner, and reports today suggest Leeds will see plenty of outgoings if they fail in their pursuit to the promised land. Yet the #exclusive from the Daily Mail over cooks the situation in my view. Yes Leeds lost money last year. Yes they will need to be careful with #PSR. Yet the receive plenty by way of those dreadful #parachute #payments and I can’t see a fire sale being necessary. Not for them, or Norwich this summer. The bigger question is how on earth did the likes of Leeds, and Southampton fail to gain automatic promotion? Their parachute money made them three times more likely to progress back to the premier league than their #EFL Championship counterparts! Understanding the detail behind the PSR calculation is crucial and regulation should influence the direction of travel for any senior leader in professional football. Matt Slater George Simms Richard Edwards Dave Powell Dan Plumley Tony Faulkner Managing Director Andy McIntyre VSI Executive Education Leeds must raise up to £100m in sales if they fail to win promotion https://lnkd.in/e99Z6wqv

LBW for the win... Lewis v Wandsworth London Borough Council [2020] EWHC 3205 (QB) On 28 August 2014, L was walking with a friend through Battersea Park, a large (200-acre) Victorian park that includes two cricket pitches, one smaller with a path around its edge and a second larger one, as well as other attractions. While walking, L heard a cry from her left. She turned her head to the left, inclined her head upwards, and was struck in the left eye with a cricket ball. The strike caused serious facial injuries to L. L sued the London Borough of Wandsworth (LBW 😁), which is responsible for maintaining and operating the park. In the first instance, after a trial in the Wandsworth County Court, L won, and LBW was ordered to pay damages of £17k and the same in costs. The Court distinguished L’s claim from the landmark decision in Bolton v Stone [1951] AC 850 (we've posted about this case before), finding LBW 😁 had failed in its duty owed to park users by permitting pedestrians to walk alongside the cricket pitch without offering any warning that a cricket match was in progress with a hard ball being used. On appeal, LBW (😁) succeeded. “The case is very different from Bolton v Stone. The risk of balls being hit towards the path was so evident that any warning should have been superfluous….To a reasonable person a warning in the terms suggested by the Recorder was unnecessary and irrelevant.” “What I frankly fail to understand is how the Recorder could envisage that a cricket match played by adult men could be assumed by any reasonable passer-by to be using a soft ball. This would have been particularly so if they were wearing whites and therefore playing what would appear to be a serious match.” “I reach the conclusion that the Recorder's judgment was wrong. He failed to take account of material factors and there was a lack of logic in his analysis of the facts. In the circumstances which obtained, allowing pedestrians to walk along the path when a cricket match was taking place was reasonably safe, the prospects of an accident (albeit nasty if it occurred) being remote.” #legalhistory #law #negligence #cricket #notkrickkit #aussie #warnie

The international break is over and the Premier League returns with a selection of tasty tussles culminating in Tottenham v Arsenal on Sunday. We were mildly more interested in the two England games in the Nations League, due to the fact there’s a new bald-headed boss in town in the shape of Lee Carsley. And although the Three Lions racked up two impressive wins under the interim manager, it still doesn’t get the blood pumping like a Premier League weekend. The Bookie Basher also took a breather while the top flight took a step back, but he’s back from Benidorm and Ibiza, where we shudder to think what shenanigans he got up to. Anyway, those tales of debauchery are for another day - let’s get down to business with some free betting tips for your perusal… Southampton v Manchester United I’ve been on a stag do to Benidorm folks and before that had a week in Ibiza so I’m mega fragile. Indeed Alicante Airport Burger King after a four-day bender will absolutely destroy your conviction in a loving God. But we move on, and there is much to like here in lumping both teams to score. Like many, I am not sold on this current Red Devils team but Southampton have not beaten Manchester United at home since 2003, a simpler time when Avril Lavigne was telling us all it’s ‘Complicated‘. Nothing complicated about the pick here. BTTS reeks of win. Bosh. Suggested Bet: Both teams to score at 13/20 (Ladbrokes). There's more of this kind of magic in the full preview... https://lnkd.in/eMEgZdU4 #tips #bettingtips #freetips #premierleaguetips #tottenhamtips

Those fake runs towards the near post are very useful. They either create a gap in Zonal structure or make the zonal defenders to shift forward. Why shifting forward is a weakness, we can speak about it in another video.
