🌍 | On #WorldEarthDay, Advanex Europe continues to commit to being a sustainable company. In October 2023, we became EcoVadis certified. This was a reflection of the hard work and dedication our teams put into making Advanex a sustainable company. The EcoVadis assessment takes into account four themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement - with Advanex ranking as one of the top 50% companies to be certified by the sustainability experts. Ecovadis, a leading assessment platform for #sustainability in global supply chains, places great emphasis on environmental impact, sustainable sourcing, ethics, labour and human rights. Ecovadis' assessments cover the data and supply chains of over 100,000 companies worldwide. In 2023, the evaluation system for achieving the medal levels was made even stricter. We are therefore particularly proud to have our sustainability efforts recognised with a silver medal. This achievement is not only a sign of our commitment to sustainable practices, but also a motivation for the entire industry to follow the path of sustainability. It shows that sustainable business practices and successful business management can go hand in hand.   In the future, we plan to continue improving our processes and products to minimise our environmental footprint and promote a positive social impact. Great news! Alucan achieved @EcoVadis Bronze. Our EcoVadis rating is now 58/100. We made some improvements and our score is better than 70%  of the businesses assessed by EcoVadis. What does this mean? 👉 We have achieved the Bronze EcoVadis Medal, meaning that we are awarded to the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis. 👉 An EcoVadis medal is an acknowledgement of achievement relative to other assessed companies across the EcoVadis database. 👉 To be eligible for a medal, we needed to achieve a minimum score of 30 on each of the following metrics: Environment, Ethics, Labor & Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement. Commitment to responsible business practices sees Nordic Pharma ranked in the top 35% of rated organizations by EcoVadis!   🌍 We are delighted to share that Nordic Pharma has recently achieved EcoVadis recertification at the bronze level. EcoVadis, the largest sustainability ratings provider globally, assesses over 130,000 companies in 200 sectors, across 180 countries. Their comprehensive evaluation covers 21 sustainability indicators grouped into four key themes: 🌿 Environment: Assessing our environmental impact in areas such as energy consumption and emissions. 👷 Labour & Human Rights: Evaluating our practices in health and safety, working conditions, and diversity. 💼 Ethics: Ensuring our adherence to business ethics, including anti-corruption and fair competition. 🛒 Sustainable Procurement: Reviewing the sustainability of our sourcing practices. The recertification process recognized the company's progress in areas including the environment and labour and human rights – both of which reported notable increases in their scores. Our overall score increased by 11 points, putting us in the top half of bronze-certified companies. This achievement reflects our commitment to our CSR strategy and the focus on sustainability and responsible business practices.
