This isn’t new innovation. I’m not sure how long this process has been in use, but we used to fit these 20 years ago.

Not bad but still have the hazard on the rear accessing the ladder and I’m sure the front isn’t guarded.

I like this guardrail system but, needs to have the mid rail, safety it's not a game, the most value assets for a company are the workers! Company will not exist with people... Having that current system gives them a false safety sensation! PPE must be used.. proper training will be the best, training is the key

Já fabricamos equipamentos com este sistema, inclusive com guarda corpo em ambos os lados e acionamento pneumático ou hidráulico, evitando assim possíveis incidentes.

This is a good engineering control but the workers should also use their other PPE such as the head protection and if moving away from the guard rail a PFAS

Great idea. Used now in many fuel tankers in MY. Note that it reduce fall not prevent. In my view, worker going onto top of tanker deck can still fall from access ladder unless using a fall restrain while using the ladder.

Muy bueno el sistema. Aunque ya lo he visto funcionando de manera neumática!! Sumamente importante que el operador utilice arnés y aplique las técnicas de ascenso y descenso seguro, para evitar caídas de diferente nivel!!
