Fengyi Bridge is designed as a three-tower cable-stayed bridge with a total deck length of 526m and a total bridge width of 57m. It looks like a full-drum sail and has two-way ten lanes. It is currently the world's widest multi-tower cable-stayed bridge and is built by China Railway No. 3 Engineering Group. OVM has developed the world's largest carbon fiber cable (7-253) for the bridge, with an anchoring force of 2,000 tons. The development of this transverse elastic limiter carbon fiber cable is difficult and the construction period is very tight. Relying on Ovm's deep prestressed anchoring technology, the company's R&D team was not afraid of challenges and boldly innovated. After repeated demonstrations, it finally overcame the anchoring technology difficulties of the 2,000-ton carbon fiber cable. Congraturation!! The revision of Shanghai Engineering Construction Specification ‘Technical Regulations for the Application of Reflective Heat Insulating Coatings for Buildings’ was completed by Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science Co. Ltd. as the first editor-in-chief together with relevant units, which took nearly three years, and was renamed ‘Technical Standard for Thermal Barrier Coatings for Buildings’ after the revision. This standard will be the first local standard on new products of thermal radiation barrier coatings represented by aerogel strategic materials, highlighting Shanghai's characteristics and leading level. As the number of #external_elevator installations in existing RC (Reinforced Concrete) buildings increases, these projects are recognized for contributing to #sustainable_development by reducing carbon dioxide emissions. However, the structural performance of external elevator wells remains understudied. This study uses an actual external elevator project on Jinzhong Road in Shanghai City to explore how varying #RC_footing heights influence the structural ability to withstand seismic events and examines five different external elevator wells under nonlinear pushover analysis.
