811. What rude nurses you have on the phones at times. You tell them you medical concern and they do not ask for clarification then they call you rude and may they will hang up the phone. Well guess what you have rude people working there and incompetent staff working there and at Alberta health services and if you continue to disrespect and test me this way I will blast you online till the cows come home. Because you are in the business of customer services . And as a medical transcriptionist and medical receptionist . I know all the same regulations and such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. And I had to take an oath just like them nurses. Learn terminology. And right now they are showing incredible arrogance and rudeness by acting incompetent on the job and not willing to answer question which is their job. Do I need to contact poison control to define our why synthroid turned my toe nails to fungus and what drug has been substituted and mail an endocrinologist 6 pharmacists and an endocrinologist. For misuse of drugs mislabel drugs and or changing a prescription. Is that what you want I can and will do if fda is next on my contact along with recall pharmacy head and Walmart head off for pharmacy and You won’t believe it …. Because it will also be hospital pharmacies too I be all up in your business until o am dead and when I am dead I don’t want death inquire I want murder charges on all involved even the lawyers. And all doctors and that 6-8 if not more. #albertahealthservices #pharmaceutical

https://lnkd.in/gxgQQ25K One of the often-overlooked problems within chain/retail pharmacies is medication errors. Drug errors = things like filling the wrong strength or even the wrong medication. According to this article, nearly 75% of respondents (pharmacists and staff) felt they did not have enough time to safely perform clinical duties and patient care. Obviously, that's NOT OK. Again, if you're a worker's comp patient, why risk going to a chain/retail pharmacy? You have a MUCH better solution w/ EZ Scripts.

Mastering Pharmacy Billing and Prior Authorization As a professional with multiple back surgeries, a plethora of joint replacements, and 30 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle support, today's topic regarding the significance of Prior Authorizations (PA) in Pharmacy Billing is especially important to me. Pharmacists play a critical role in the overall healthcare management of a patient. They serve as the first line of communication and consultation about medications. While their domain expertise is indeed commendable, the administrative support, particularly in Pharmacy Coding and Billing, should match their efficiency. The missing link here is often the correct and detailed implementation of PA. Prior Authorization is a requirement that your physician obtains approval from your health insurance plan to prescribe a specific medication for you. For your insurance to cover your medication, all the information submitted needs to be accurate, including the selection of the right ICD-10 diagnosis code, and not just “chest pain” or “asthma.” A claim can be denied due to the inconsistency between the authorized request and the actual claim submitted. Here's a common scenario - A drug was authorized to be dispensed once a day. But, when the claim was submitted, the frequency was changed to twice daily. Result? Denied Claim. Despite accuracy of diagnosis, the claim didn't match the authorized service due to a minor yet consequential error. If you find your healthcare provider continually struggling due to these petty issues, there's a way out. Hiring a certified coder or a professional remote staff can be beneficial in terms of efficiency and operational costs. Invest in regular chart audits and have a designated team for Prior Authorization. Train them to not easily accept a 'No' and encourage them for appeal attempts. Navigating through these billing challenges may be complex, But, remember, perseverance is the key to a smoother and less frustrating revenue cycle. Keep your pharmacy staff focused on patient care and let us handle the tangles of Prior Authorization. Hire extended professional staff to support your Healthcare Business operations 24/7 for Clinical Customer Service, Prior Authorizations, Pharmacy Coding, Billing, and rejections. The recent announcement on July 1, 2024, regarding the exemption of 354 medical devices from local procurement regulations, enabling procurement agencies to issue global tenders, prompts analysis from various angles: 1. Access to Advanced Technology: Access to advance medical devices is going to improve healthcare by offering state-of-art equipment. 2. Cost Considerations: We will get competitive pricing due to a larger pool of suppliers bidding for contracts. 3. Impact on Local Manufacturers: This could potentially affect the growth and sustainability of the local medical device industry. 4. Quality Standards: International suppliers often adhere to stringent quality standards. This could raise the overall quality of medical devices available in India. 5. Employment and Economic Factors: Depending on the extent of reliance on imports versus local production, there could be implications for employment in the medical device sector. 6. Regulatory and Compliance Issues: Importing medical devices may involve navigating regulatory and compliance requirements, which could pose challenges or delays in procurement processes. 7. Healthcare Infrastructure: Improved access to advanced medical devices could potentially enhance the overall healthcare infrastructure in India. While exempting medical devices from local procurement clauses and allowing global tenders may expand access to advanced technology and potentially reduce costs, it also raises considerations about the impact on local manufacturers and broader economic implications. Balancing these factors will be crucial in determining the long-term impact on the Indian market and healthcare system. #MedicalDevices #HealthcareTechnology #GlobalTenders #HealthcareInnovation #MedicalDeviceIndustry #HealthcareAccess #HealthcareInfrastructure #GlobalHealthcare #ProcurementStrategy #MedicalDeviceRegulations https://lnkd.in/gFC8J7zj
