A simple reminder. The asphalt is too hot for your dog's paws in these temperatures. It will severely burn their paw pads. Please choose early morning or late evening walks. Grass if you can. Make sure your pet stays well hydrated in these temperatures. An easy trick is to add a glass of water to their dry food during feedings. Be safe out there! #excessiveheat #safetyfirst #hydration #noburnedpaws

As temperatures continue to rise ,it is important to take care of stray animals who are worst hit by the scorching heat .This intense heat can be very harsh for strays as they usually are outdoors and it can effect the well being of them . Hydration, Hydration, Hydration. We can help stray animals stay comfortable during summers by ensuring adequate Hydration . I Have placed water bowls, filling them regularly. Apart from this ,have started soaking the dry food in water / butter milk ,prior to Feeding rounds. Benefits .... # Adding water to dog’s food can help increase their overall fluid intake. This would prevent dehydration. # Easily digested # Softened food is easily chewable, best for senior dogs # Adding water to dry food can significantly enhance its palatability. In essence, it can transform a mundane meal into a savoury sensation for our four-legged friends. Its a personal choice. If you ask me ,i am really finding this soaked version better as butter milk / water is taking care of my street dogs and helping them to cope up with the rising temperatures. Have you tried this ? would love to know

The average sedentary dog only needs 20 calories per pound of body weight. So, if you have a little five pound lap dog, they need like a hundred calories a day. So, too big a meal, or free choice meals, or too many treats between meals. If everyone in the household just says, "Oh, I just give him one little treat", it adds up my friend. That could be why your dog really doesn't have much drive to work for food when you want to train them. #DogsThat #DogTrainingTips #DogFood #DogHealth #DogDiet #DogFoodDrive #DogTreats
