Disruptions in your workflow as a field adjuster are not only inefficient, but they can also be frustrating, stressful, and financially burdensome. Check your equipment regularly to ensure everything is in good working order. This includes your vehicle(s), campers/RVs, ladders, flashlights, etc. Always carry a set of jumper cables, hand tools, a spare gas can, water, and emergency medical treatment in your vehicle. It doesn’t hurt to keep a stash of long-term food supply too such as MREs. In addition, make sure you keep plenty of supplies such as chalk, pens/pencils, paper, batteries, etc. Having spare tools such as a pitch gauge, tape measure, or digital camera is also a great idea. #pacesetterclaims #setthepace #tipsandtricks #tips #adjusters #fieldadjusters #catadjusters #catseason #stormseason #adjustertips #adjustertipsandtricks

If you're not on The Endpoint, you're missing out on connecting with maintenance pros like Chris! Learn more about his story and how you can join The Endpoint here ⤵️
Meet Chris Presley 👋 He's an Augury community member on The Endpoint. What do you do? 👉 I'm an Assistant Maintenance Manager with nearly two decades of maintenance experience. What's a moment in your role that you're proud of? 👉 The most rewarding experience was the diagnosis of a bad motor bearing on a bucket elevator and then, a few weeks later, a drive bearing. We were able to schedule these repairs and avoid the unplanned downtime. It reaffirmed that we made the right decision to implement continuous monitoring. What do you like to do outside of work? 👉 I spend my time with my young adult children and my first granddaughter. I enjoy anything outdoors—hiking and trail rides in my Ford Bronco most of all. ✳ #SafeStall: Safeguarding #Mud_Motors from #Stalling Risks One of the most common and costly challenges in #directional_drilling with #mud_motors is #motor_stalling. A #stall occurs when the #torque demand from the #drill_bit exceeds the #mud_motor's capacity, causing excessive #pressure_build_up. This excess pressure and resulting #torque can lead to catastrophic damage: #power_section wear, #stator rubber #chunking, reduced #motor_efficiency, and connection #back_off. ❇ Introducing #SafeStall #SafeStall is an #innovative tool designed to minimize the risks and damage associated with #motor_stalling. Installed on top of the #PDM in place of the #safety_catch_sub, SafeStall activates #bypass ports to the #annulus when #reverse_rotation is detected. By diverting #fluid_flow, it rapidly reduces built-up pressure, protecting the #downhole_motor from #stall-related damage. In addition to pressure relief, #SafeStall also functions like a #rotor_catcher, helping to secure motor components and prevent their loss in case of mechanical failure or connector separation. ❎ How #SafeStall Works During standard #drilling, SafeStall’s clutch mechanism remains locked, keeping the bypass ports sealed and maintaining consistent #fluid_flow to the #mud_motor. If reverse rotation occurs, the clutch mechanism activates, causing an internal sleeve to rotate and align with the bypass ports. The bypass ports then open, allowing trapped fluid to escape to the annulus. This action relieves pressure on the motor, preventing the torque buildup that causes stall-related risks and damage. Once the #drill_bit resumes normal rotation, #SafeStall’s mechanism automatically closes the bypass ports, resetting the tool for future activation. ✅ Benefits of #SafeStall ✔ Enhanced Safety: By preventing reverse rotation and potential #back_off in connections, #SafeStall adds a crucial layer of safety to #downhole operations. ✔ Reduced #Downtime: #SafeStall minimizes the risk of tool damage and connection failures, reducing interruptions and lowering repair costs. ✔ Extended Equipment Life: Relieving back pressure reduces stress on both the mud motor and the drill string, helping extend the operational life of #downhole_tools. #SafeStall offers a reliable, purely mechanical solution for maintaining the stability and efficiency of mud motor operations under challenging drilling conditions. It’s a practical advancement that addresses one of the most significant issues in #directional_drilling, helping operators achieve smoother, safer, and more #cost_effective #drilling_operations. #DirectionalDrilling #MudMotor #DrillingTechnology #OilfieldInnovation #DownholeTools #DrillingSafety #BHA #PressureManagement #DrillBit #WellIntegrity #OilAndGasIndustry #StallingPrevention #HydraulicEngineering #WellControl #DrillingOperations #RotarySteerable #DrillingEfficiency #MechanicalEngineering #EnergyTechnology #SubsurfaceEngineering

The length of time it takes to rebuild after a fire can greatly vary depending on the level of damage, the type of structure affected, how many contents are in the space, and other factors. When you contact SERVPRO of Boston Downtown, technicians will assess and inspect your property, then determine a timeline of how long they expect the remediation and rebuild process to take.
