Human rights are inalienable, indivisible, and universal. Yet, in many countries around the world, they are still being violated on a daily basis. The right to #education is one of the 30 human rights set out by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Education is not only important for individual development and personal growth, but also for society as a whole. It allows us to engage with other cultures and ways of life, break down prejudices, and promote respectful coexistence. Through education, we learn to #appreciate and #respect the diversity of our society. We can learn that differences are not barriers, but opportunities to learn from each other and enrich one another. Therefore, it is important that we, as humans, employees, companies, and members of society, advocate for the right to education #ForAll and stand up against discrimination and racism. At Evonik, we clearly position ourselves for democracy, diversity, and human rights. Whether in co-determination, the workforce, or the executive board. Thank you very much for that! #InternationalWeeksAgainstRacism #HumanRightsForAll #FollowUsBeyond #Evonik
Taking a stand and assuming responsibility. At Evonik, we take our responsibility to promote human rights and diversity seriously - not only within the company but also in society. But what do human rights mean to each and every one of us? As part of this year's International Weeks Against Racism, we asked our Executive Board Members and employees. 👇 #Evonik #IWgR #IWgR2024 #PartofSomethingSpecial

Bramidan Group has just published its annual report for 2023-24. Press release and article from Jyske Vestkysten (DK) can be seen below. Bramidan continues growth with a focus on digital solutions and recycling Bramidan, the Bramming-based manufacturer of compaction solutions, has completed another financial year with a turnover of DKK 353 million in 2023/24. This confirms the company's ambitions for increased focus on resource recycling, which is reflected in their slogan "Less is more recycling". Results for the year The company achieved a pre-tax profit of DKK 17.8 million, an increase from DKK 16.1 million the previous year. Equity has grown to DKK 136.7 million, underlining Bramidan's solid financial foundation. Global presence and digital innovation Bramidan's continued growth and global market position are built on their core products - machines for compacting cardboard, plastic and other recyclable materials. With sales offices in seven countries and dealers in 30 countries, the company has a strong international presence. A major driver behind the growth is Bramidan's digital platform, BRA-IN. This innovative system gives customers direct online access to their machines, which enables optimization of use, transport and service. In addition, the platform helps customers reduce and thereby improve their climate accounts and calculate their CO2 emissions. Group CEO Jakob Lysholm Christensen is pleased with the employees' great commitment and effort, which he finds very satisfying. In addition, major investments are continuously being made in future development and competitiveness. Jakob Lysholm Christensen states: "Bramidan stands on a strong foundation for growth and sustainable solutions for the future. At the same time, however, we are experiencing restraint in our global markets due to the interest rate level and inflation, which is not least affecting subdued sales to large international retail customers." Future expectations Regardless of increasing competition, Bramidan expects continued growth in activity and earnings. This is supported by an increased focus on sustainable solutions, which at the same time contribute to increased profitability and CO2 reduction for customers. Bramidan's progress underlines the company's position as an innovative player in the recycling industry, delivering not only efficient machines, but also digital solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future. #customervalue #recycling #CO2reduction #wastehandling #growth https://lnkd.in/d487Svx9

It has already been 20 years since we founded The Chatham Group. I still remember the day Tom Galvanek, CSM and I walked into MRINetwork in Cleveland, OH to discuss opening our firm. 20 years ago, I was about to graduate from Rutgers University and was unsure what the future had for me. After 20 years, it is clear to me that most people desire a meaningful career. People want purpose. People desire meaningful interactions with others. People work hard for their families and want to work for companies that understand this. I have also seen many different types of leaders over the last 20 years. The leaders who shine, attract amazing talent under them, and motivate positive impact for their organizations are the ones who figuratively bend down to uplift others. They use their vulnerability to gain trust and support others with their goals. Service is at the heart of great leadership. While it is true that there is an ongoing war for great talent, great organizations understand that people make them great. If companies care for people, and integrate that mentality throughout their culture, interviewing process, and ongoing training efforts, success is gained. Over the next 20 years, we endeavor to demonstrate this principle as an organization. We care about people first. We care about our people. We care about you in your career. We care about your ability to hire great people in your industry. This will be our stalwart focus. Here's to the next 20 years of serving people! #recruiting #wefindgreatpeople #20yearanniversary #hiringtrends
